Love the tv. Easy setup. Wish it had more hdmi inputs. Had to purchase a hdmi hub for that. Sound bar is easy to install and setup. But…. soundbar keeps dropping e arc. Called samsung tech support which was no support. Replaced th supplied cable wit a better cable. Still same thing. Drops out and no sound. It does work with no selecting e arc. Just use arc. But bought this as a samsung package. You would think they would have worked out all the bugs

This t model is probably more expensive than what I needed. I have my tv on a corner cabinet and I don’t want to have to climb behind it or try to lift a 90 lb. plus tv out of the way for wiring. I placed the connection panel down inside the corner cabinet where all the HDMI connections are easier to access. I don’t have to get behind the tv.

THE GOOD
1) Brightness is out of this world and HDR videos really pop.
2) Black levels great for non-OLED, but still a bit of halo effect and blooming off-angle
3) Form factor is pretty slim and flat on the back. Circuit box is a separate unit which can be hidden behind a wall or cabinet.
4) Good gaming features.
THE BAD
1) Color calibration out of the box is poor, but can be fixed with the right combination of settings.
2) Some minor dirty screen effect on light backgrounds.
3) The glossy screen really reflects light. I can always see the reflection of my window.
4) Odd mechanical click when turning TV on, like the tube TVs of old.
5) Defaults to Samsung TV Plus (or antenna if TV plus is disabled) on bootup, and I’ve found no way to change it.
6) Remote frustrating to use. Awkward, small, cheap-feeling buttons prone to accidental presses at slightest graze. App specific buttons not customizable.
7) Decent sound for TV speakers, but speakers buzz and rattle at certain frequencies
THE UGLY
1) Interface slow and laggy with stutters and delays in both visual and audio cues.
2) Ads on homescreen; can be reduced with hidden settings, but not eliminated.
3) Bugs in several apps cause video to lag audio after a while. Independent of the audio delay setting. Seems to be TV software issue, not app issue.
4) Eventually, TV will lose connection and just spins indefinitely when loading video. At that point, have to do a soft reboot.
5) Bug if soundbar connected. TV will switch back to TV speakers at random. Frequently happens.
BOTTOM LINE
For this kind of money, the level of software issues and bugs is inexcusable. What’s crazy is, if they had used Google TV or Roku, this would likely be 5 stars. And yes, I understand that I can just buy a separate box, but I shouldn’t have to do that at this price. For picture quality snobs, this and QD-OLED are the ones to get, but if not, I’d go for something with good software and pay 1/3 the price.

The brightness, picture quality, and gaming features are great and you can tune all these things quite well. there was a little blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds but not really an issue. I had no problems connecting a Sonos arc to the earc port. The appletv I use for streaming didn’t play well at first but swapping cables around fixed it. You’ll also have a lot of bright rainbow reflections off the semi-gloss screen. Most people just deal with that though it did annoy me.
But mine had a common issue where if turned off for a long time (overnight), it would go into a deep sleep and the only way to wake it was to pull power. For what I paid for this TV I wasn’t willing to deal with it and returned it. If not for that issue, it’d still be on my wall. If you get lucky and don’t have that problem then you’ll be pleased.

This is the second Samsung QN95 Series TV I have purchased. The first was the 65 inch (2018) model. I really like the One Connect Box system because there is only one cable running from the TV to the One Connect Box. I personally don’t like having a multitude of cables hanging down the wall from the TV. You then connect additional items, such as HD DVD Player, Amazon Fire Stick 4K, etc., to the One Connect Box. I believe there are 4 HDMI connections on the One Connect Box. I hook the One Connect box to my AV Receiver, which provides even more room for adding additional optional equipment. It does take two men to wall mount this TV. Simply because of the size. The recommended Samsung Wall Mount is available online for around 85.00. The picture quality is outstanding! Especially when viewing 4K UHD content, which more and more Streaming Services are offering. There’re some great You Tube videos out that show how to ‘tweak’ the picture, in the various TV settings options, to make the picture really POP out at you! The TV’s refresh rate is 120Hz which is great! Less blurring when shows having stuff panning across the TV. You can buy cheaper TVs, but you don’t get the quality picture the higher end TVs, like this TV, provide. You can also buy more expensive TVs, like 8K, but why? They don’t even produce content in 8K yet! I haven’t had an issue with the 2018 model I bought and I hope this 2022 model is just as reliable. Time will tell!. I highly recommend this TV if you want the most bang for your buck! I actually purchased this 75 inch for less than what I paid for my 2018 65 inch because I bought it over the Holidays on Special Pricing! YES, I recommend this TV.

Setting up this TV was stressful – from minuscule instructions that can’t be read without a microscope to endless do-loops trying to get the thing to work. The actual TV and stand are quite heavy (which I expected based on the product information) and the TV has to be laid on a flat surface, screen down, to install the mounting hardware. This is definitely a two-person job. Once set up, though, the picture quality is very good and there is a lot of depth to the image. I have my TV on the included stand, but I used the wall mounting cable and put the one connect box on a shelf under the TV for easy access – I wish this option had been explained in the instructions. The remote takes a lot of getting used to, and navigation is cumbersome – but I’m sure it’s because I’m on the steep end of the learning curve. This is my very first flat screen TV, and I feel like I now have a home cinema!
