I love these lights. The value is very good. I have yet to see how they’ll hold up in the long term, but for 12 dollars I will be pleased in any case. They are very bright LEDs and there are 3 settings, adjusted by pushing the button. My personal favorite is the last setting, as it has 4 or 5 fast flashes – I feel like an airplane sitting on the runway. I highly recommend this set of lights.

La luminosidad es mejor de lo que esperaba, la calidad de ensamblaje y acabados deja mucho que desear. No están mal de precio pero le hubiera invertido un poco más por un kit de mejor calidad.
La luz roja no pude montarla como se debÃa, tuve que cambiar el orden de ensamblaje y posiblemente se moverá con la vibración a corto plazo.

This light had no reviews when I was looking for something to use on my road bike at night so I thought I would help the situation. I had no idea that I had purchased the brightest light I have ever seen on a road bike! This light has super bright LED’s and I have had no trouble riding in the pitch black darkness of night with just ONE of these lights. I bought two just in case but the second is now the backup. Love it and it still works after multiple rides in heavy rain.

These lights are wonderful when they choose to work. When I received them, the white one wasn’t working so I bought it a new set of batteries. In less than two months I’ve replaced the batteries in both lights multiple times, even when I haven’t been using them often. Just now I went to use them only to find that the white one wouldn’t turn on at all and the red one was very faint. The red one hasn’t even been used since I last put batteries in it (and made sure it was working).

It’s a low end item, but it works as advertised. Not particularly bright but people will see you coming. I ride before dawn so the streets are empty usually. I need the lights to be seen if a vehicle comes along. They do that, they are easy to mount, and have different settings for steady and blinking lights. Works fine for me.

I have a cateye el510, 1 watt headlight (I used to have 2 but thanks to a thief…) The Cateye takes 4 AA and is actually less bright than this with 3 AAA.
The mount on my old Cateye is definitely better. But unavailable now. the big weakness I see with this mount is the over-reliance on plastic parts. There is a small plastic clip (like a zip tie) that sets the circumference and a quick release screw and metal nut that tighten it down. That plastic clip is probably the weakest link in the system. I mounted to a 31.8 bar that is tapered to the edges and it was hard to get it to be really tight. Hopefully it is tight enough! On the plus side, the QR mechanism closes toward the rider. My cateye closed toward the front wheel and was always a pain to close w/o hitting my shifters.
So 5 starts for brightness. 3 stars for battery longevity – mainly cause I prefer AA’s that have higher capacity (but AAA’s are lighter for you weightweinees) and 3 stars for the mount, that could have been better.
I’ll check back in a few months with an update
UPDATE – DAY 4 OF USE
THE MOUNT IS NO LONGER TIGHT TO THE HANDLEBAR. I TRIED TIGHTENING AND THE FORKED PLASITC THAT HOLDS THE QR JUST BENDS. SO THE PLASTIC IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD UP TO 4 DAYS OF USE. GOOD LIGHT, BUT SINCE THIS IS A BIKE LIGHT, IT IS COMPLETELY USELESS IF IT WILL NOT HOLD ONTO HANDLEBARS. BAD DESIGN WITH THE FORKED PLASTIC OR TOO CHEAP OF PLASTIC – NOT SURE.
DO NOT BUY AS A BIKE LIGHT!
Update – day 8 or so, I fixed the mount with a hose clamp. However now when I hit bumps the light will flicker. its not totally off, but will dim significantly. I know this was a problem for other similar flashlight type bike lights, so this may suffer the same fate.

Great light set. Head lamp is quite bright compared to anything I’ve used before. Installation is simple. Glad I bought two sets of lights as my daughter is also thrilled with the upgrade on her bike.

These lights are great. You just clip them onto the bike and you are all set to go. I did almost send them back because the white light did not work right out of the box. I unscrewed the battery compartment and noticed the batteries were not lined up perfectly on top of each other so after lining them up and screwing the back piece back on, the light turned on and I’ve had no issue since. I wanted them to alert drivers of my presence and they are plenty bright for that for where I live.

It’s okay for the price. However, it makes much more sense, pay more and buy a more durable light. The front light did not work after one month. The back light is still fine and in good shape.
