You can look at the reviews and the specs and I won’t repeat all of that here. What I will say is if your wondering if you should spend the money for a super high quality power supply like this then the answer is yes. It’s not like a pricey new processor that will be replaced next year with the next greatest thing in pricey new processors. This is a power supply that will give clean stable reliable service in your current build and probably the one after that and the one after that. Just a note about the packaging………….it’s absolutely the finest I’ve ever seen………..fitting for a product of such high quality.

The Seasonic Power supplies are very nice, It features a 10 year warranty, Fully modular Cables, and a platinum certification. This power supply is of great quality I am very impressed. As this is my first time purchasing a Seasonic product, I am proud to say I am extremely Satisfied with the products that Seasonic Manufactures.
Installation:
The installation for this power supply will vary upon case, But with the Cooler Master HAF XB Evo, it was fairly simple and cables were very lengthy, and of nice quality. All of the Cables plugged in with ease, and fit snug in the power supply. Length of cables is plenty for cases of all sizes, and allows for good cable management. Everything you need will be included in the box, such as some handy zip ties, and Velcro ones as well.
Performance:
Now while this power supply is already quiet, the Hybrid mode will make it change when needed meaning that fan will only spin when it needs too. It’s a nice feature to have. On top of all that It is a very nice power supply that is very efficient, and will provide enough power, for a high end system, and future proofing.
Overall: If this is on sale on a good price, I would totally recommend that anyone purchase this as it is a very nice power supply and should be enough for most people. Quality is there, as well, With a 10 year warranty, and a good company behind it, there should be minimal to no problems with anything that may happen. This having platinum efficiency is also another very nice thing to have, as well with the modular cables for cable management for all kinds of cases.
With the market always changing check your options on power supplies, including sales on power supplies, and prices changing by the days. Always check your options. But this power supply, and brand is very recommended by me, glad I gave them a chance!

This thing runs extremely cool and quiet for the case and system that it’s powering. It never creates any noise and it’s efficiency rating helps save money and heat in the long term. Its also comparably small (compare the measurements to other PSUs) so it’ll fit in more cases!

Ordered two, one worked and the other bricked less than five minutes after starting. Unfortunately neither the seller or Amazon were able to help with replacement or refund.
You would think that for such respectable brand there wouldn’t be any issues, but since these are used the quality isn’t guaranteed.

This is a quality brand and I expect few problems with it. It is sightly smaller than typical ATX power supplies, which is useful if you have a small case.
I would have appreciated better quality and longer modular cables. Even though I was building a regular mid-tower system, I had to buy extensions for the motherboard cable and the SATA cable. The CPU cable just barely fit into the connector. The molex cable for my fan controller was a tight fit. I had to use pliers to force the connection.

For reference, this reviewer has built over 500 desktop/tower PC’s, over about 25 years, mostly for CAD/Engineering, and also dozens of custom servers.
For many years, Seasonic was a very reliable brand of specialized (i.e. rack-mounted) server PSU, with a solid reputation. Although I’d only tried a few, the Seasonics had never let me down.
Over the years building custom desktop PC’s, I used to favor PSU’s made by various vendors, none of which proved to be particularly reliable over time. When I saw that Seasonic has entered the desktop market, I was excited and jumped in at the first opportunity.
That was about 3 years ago, and now I’m at maybe 40 builds, with still not a single failure. I am so confident in their desktop power supplies that I’ve even built a few tower servers with them.

ich habe mir vor kurzem einen pc zusammengebaut dabei ist das 18jahre her als ich das das letzte mal gemacht habe bin also kein vollprofi was das angeht aber ist eigentlich wie fahrrad fahren verlernt man nicht 🙂 das netzteil ist sogut wie lautlos und super verarbeitet und optisch auch nicht von schlechten eltern nur 1 hat mir nicht so gut gefallen ich weiss aber nicht ob das nicht bei anderen netzteilen(hersteller) auch so ist das 24pin atx kabel ist auf der seite die man ins netzteil steckt in 2 kleinere kabel(stecker) geteilt wovon ich die ganze zeit beim zusammenbau meines pcs nur das größere eingesteckt habe weil ich dachte das 2 ist als adapter für irgentwelche anderen sachen gedacht 😀 somit gab der pc die ganze zeit kein mucks von sich bis mir nicht ein kumpel mich darauf hingewiesen hatte das ich das mal einstecken soll 😀 seitdem läuft mein pc wie eine 1(ja ist wirklich so passiert bin halt etwas eingerostet lange her un so) xD

Voll Modulares Netzteil. (+2 Sterne)
Schön und sicher im Karton Verpackt. Die meisten Kabel sind dann nochmal separat in Tütchen verschweißt.
Netzteil und Stromkabel in Stofftaschen eingepackt. Es werden Klett-Stripes mitgeliefert. Sehen entsprechend mit Firmenlogo geprägt echt nett aus.
Der Einbau gestaltet sich wie bei jedem Netzteil gleich. Mit 4 Schrauben & Schraubendreher sind alle Sachen gesagt.
Es liegt jetzt an jedem selbst wie er es angehen möchte. Erst die benötigten Kabel ans Netzteil und dann rein damit oder ohne Kabel und dann im nachhinein verlegen. Ohne Mainboard im Gehäuse würde ich 2.Variante wählen.
Die Kabel sind ein wenig starr, was beim verlegen Vor- und Nachteile hat.
Das Netzteil läuft absolut ruhig (+1 Stern). Kein Klicken, klein Klackern, in keinem der beiden Modis. Es kann ausgewählt werden ob der Lüfter ständig läuft oder man in den Hybrid-Modus schalten möchte (+1 Stern), bei dem das Netzteil entscheidet wann es den Lüfter zur Kühlung einschaltet. Druckschalter dafür befindet sich hinten, direkt neben dem Powerknopf.
Da ich jetzt nicht alle 20 Sekunden überprüfe was das Gerät gerade macht, ich aber keinerlei Ausfälle seit o.g. Datum mit folgendem System erleiden musste ein –> FÜR MICH SUPER <– kauf.
Update “fehlende Kabel”
Ich habe das Mainboard in 09/2021 von intel auf AMD gewechselt. Leider fehlte mir ein Kabel. 8-polig auf 2×4 polig. Dennoch tut das Netzteil seinen Dienst wie vor 2 Jahren beschrieben.

Très bonne alimentation , full modulaire , certification platinium et silencieuse.
Je ne me sert pas du mode hybride , car elle est montée dans un boîtier inwin 101 , donc au dessus de la configuration et je préfère laisser le ventilateur actif .
