Excelente maquinado y cambios suaves, la relación más amplia, sin poner pata al desviador trasero, que permite Shimano en ésta velocidad, ya montado se ve hermoso.

Inget mer att säga.

This cassette is great. The usual that you would expect from Shimano. Great product and quality at a great price. No need to buy expensive parts that will perform just as good as lower end parts. Shimano makes great products top to bottom. This cassette is one of these great products.

We were installing this on a mountain bike, so the durability was more important than saving the last ounce of weight (for extra money, too, if you go that route.) The installation was very quick and easy, together with a new chain, of course, because you don’t want to pair a new cassette with an old chain.
To install this cassette on a standard shimano hub, you need the hub tool, and a chain whip (really only needed to get the old cassette off, as use will further tighten the new cassette. If you use a torque wrench, the standard is 40 Newton meters, I think, but I could be wrong.
Of course you need a chain tool and maybe a “magic link” to replace the chain. The length may be different from your old chain if the size of the biggest sprocket is different from your old sprocket–and of course, if you’re changing size (largest number of teeth on the cassette), you also need to be sure your derailleur still works.
There isn’t much else to say. I would say I got an actual shimano part, but if it was a fake, it was meticulous in every detail–seriously, it was just the actual shimano part in the standard shimano packaging. That’s what I wanted and that’s what I got!
When to replace? If you’ve worn out 8 or 10 chains, you’ve probably also worn out the cassette. If a new chain does not rest in the valleys between the teeth of your most used gear on the cassette, it will definitely wear the chain and hinder your power transfer and smooth gear changes. It can even get sort of stuck on the teeth!

It’s getting harder and harder to find 9 speed components. I’d worn out the original cassette on my bike and this replacement filled the bill nicely.
After 2 months on the bike, I’ve had no issues at all.

I was a little worried that for the price this would be a cheap knock-off but I’m convinced it’s the genuine article.I’ve not done so many miles so far but it fits perfectly to my 2006 Specialized MOS and looks pretty cool as well.
So far so good.
As usual Shimano direct you to a non-fuctioning installation web page using the QR but bit of paper would be better I reckon. Easy to install anyway and no adjustments except to the derailleur mechanism.
Does anyone know why the listing is in German BTW?

bought it for a smart trainer and it has worked flawlessly so far.

This cassette is a direct replacement for the HG200 cassette that came on my bike. It took about 10 minutes to replace (with the right tools).

Quite inexpensive, got mine for $23. Very light cassette, love the 12-36 range and the specific tooth counts of each ring. This replaced an 11-32 cassette on one of my recumbent bikes. I don’t miss the slightly higher highest gear at all, barely used it anyway. I love the lower lowest gear which makes climbing steep hills easier. There is no huge jump in tooth count between the largest and second-largest rings as there is on many “megarange” cassettes so shifting is smoother and moving between those two rings is less jarring to your cadence. Of course I hope this cassette is tough and durable and lasts at least as long as the new chain I installed at the same time but it’s so inexpensive that if I have to replace it a little more often I won’t mind that much.

This is an OEM cassette manufactured by Shimano in Japan. If this is a DIY project suggest also consider purchasing a Park Tool FR-5.2G cassette lock ring tool , a Park Tool chain whip tool, and a Bike Pro torque wrench or similar tools to complete the project.

So far, so good. No issues with this cassette. Only had it installed for a month or so, but everything shifts perfectly, and I have no complaints.
