I’ve got it hooked up as the source if sound for zoom meetings where I have a weekly bass lesson.

It pickes up my bass really well, my voice and my teacher said the sound quality over the zoom connection is great.

I run it through a sardonic smart rig right into my phone and it works great!

So far, have had a great experience. I play guitar in a band and bought this in case I needed to mic my amp cab and the venue did not have their own. I used it for the first time last weekend and the sound that came out of the monitors was excellent. My amp distortion sounded beautiful mic’ed up. Sounded much better than most ones offered at venues.

Used to mike a piano accompanying a choir, the mike faithfully reproduces the piano’s sound with very low noise. The cardioid pattern is well defined and allows good separation between the piano and the choral voices.

The tone of this microphone is phenomenal whether as a vocal mic. or an instrument mic. It’s crisp, full, round tone works great no matter the type or style of music.

This mic is phenomenal, and the price really can’t be beaten. Really good build quality, and the fact that it comes with a 15′ cable really is the icing on the cake. My primary use for it so far has been for micing up my bass and guitar amps, and it works amazing for that. It catches a little bit of the room noise mostly due to how the enclosure is made (this is where the SM57 really shines), but if you have a quiet room you wont even notice it.

Great mic, and for the price, you REALLY can’t beat the quality. 5/5

Works great as a instrument mike. I do wish that it had a on/off switch.

I bought the pga57 and the sm57 for recordng electric guitar. I don’t really like either that much by themselves. If I had to only keep one, it would be the sm57, easy..

I don’t like the pga57 as a stand alone mic for electric guitar, but I think it pairs REALLY well with the sm57, filling in what the sm57 is lacking, imo. I think they combine for a very well rounded rock tone. Gotta keep both!
