Obsorbancy of liquid and stink is great! I have the Breeze system and was trying to be cheap. That did not pan out lol. This is not at all like ‘tidy breeze’ pellets, at all. The pellets expand and break up after absorbing liquid and it can be extremely messy to clean the box out if you’re not prepared for the sawdust. I’ve been finding sawdust all thru out my house. This stuff would be great for bunnies or caged animals. Good product but not comparable to breeze that let’s liquid drain down to the pads. (Btw Amazon pads work just as well compared to the breeze pads! So much cheaper!)

Small complaint: pellet size is too large to use with standard breeze scoop.
Big complaint: pellets break down quickly with urine. They become sawdust mixed in with pellets requiring scooping out good and bad together. Also, the pad drawer gets loaded up with sawdust. Pads must be changed out frequently and it’s hard to bag them without spilling urine soaked sawdust.
Assessment: not Eco friendly nor pleasant to use.

I use the Arm and Hammer sifting tray system which uses pine pellets. There are others out there similar as well. The issue with these when I first got it and I read reviews and wanted to change from regular litter was that people found it would be easier to put the sifting tray directly above the bottom box with something holding it up a few inches. This would allow the sawdust to fall into the bottom tray without having to attempt to separate the litter while holding the tray. I decided I’d try out the system first and see my own thoughts. I had to agree. While it smelled better than litter, I had sawdust issues now and some smells. I read a few ideas and tried a few tricks I thought of on my own. Mine didn’t work, life got busy… and low and behold I saw this kit. I’m thinking, so many are complaining about these shifting boxes, this kit is exactly what it is for! I already used pee pads on the bottom anyway, just to catch anything that misses, I’ll get some of those in there mix too! I decided to test one litter box first. The cats were iffy, so used the normal one. As the one lower to the ground became half sawdust and half pellets and the box next to it was only pellets the cats of course picked the non sawdust box. All the sawdust sifted to the box below and I’d throw a scoop or 2 of new pellets in at a time. Super low maintenance, I still sweep a tad, it’s prob a little my fault too for any sawdust spillage as I dump into my kitty garbage can, very little smell (other than pine, but I do have a wax warmer there so I don’t mind). Needles to say i already have my second kit ready to change over tomorrow. Thank you for this kit! I have had no issues with there not being a bag in the pellet box. Keep it upright and nothing spills. Less cost in processing, less cost to us, all recyclable came neat inside the Amazon box, zero complaints. Highly recommended.
Update, 5/3/24, been using this method probably a yearish? Give or take. The system still works well… except, I had to change some things. I noticed over time, the wood blocks smelled and got a bit gross. So keep this in mind for long term use. I didn’t want to keep replacing the blocks, although i do still like the pellets and think the system does work. I bought 4 small chair lifts that can be cleaned with my spray i use to disinfect and clean cat pee smell. These have lasted me several months now and are still in great shape! The cats have no issues and I think they maybe more sturdy. I added 1 box with regular cat litter as i would get poop accidents on the floors and it was driving me nuts! Best of both worlds. No pee smell bc of pellets, litter takes away poop smell. I don’t need to change either very often and it’s low maintenance and my cats are happier. This means I’m happier!
Happy kitty toilet shopping!

Not like the normal pellet litter, literally turns into a powder/dust and gets alll over the house, it’s sticks to their paws and gets absolutely everywhere i’m constantly having to hoover and wipe down sides – avoid at all costs
Shannon –
was an okay product but way over priced for something you could get a bigger bag for in the pet store and for alot cheaper
Shaunessa –
it’s the first time I ordered this brand as the picture advertised is in a bag! The pellets came LOOSE in this big box. My mother opened it the wrong way and as you can imagine twas a wee bit messy.

This is an awesome alternative from ur dusty clumpy litter. I love this because I don’t have to even touch the product or nasty cat litter! I just put a thin layer on the bottom of the kitty pan and dump it all out weekly and then put back in a thin layer. Most of the bad reviews is because they don’t know how to use it. IT IS NOTHING LIKE GRAVEL LITTER. this stuff is sapost to crumble down. Ur sapost to empty it completely. No smell because u arnt reusing old litter.
With the clumping gravel litter, as it may seem like a clean effective way. It’s not lol, when u shift through the litter and find ur clump of pee n u shake it to get the “good” litter off, ur actually leaving some pee behind. Which eventually stinks.
With this litter
Fill about a half an inch,
let ur cat do their thang,
dump it out in about week (or a couple days depending on how many cats u have)
Then fill about an inch
Repeat
I love it as there is NO dust in the air so it’s not stuffy at all!
Whoever invented pellet litter THANK YOU

I use this litter for my chihuahua! It doesn’t stick to the poo so I can easily grab it with tp and flush it down the toilet. The light spot is how it looks when peed on, it’s honestly a crumbly mess but works well for small dogs.
I would NOT recommend this for cats, it’s impossible to use a scooper with since it falls through the cracks and the cat pee smell is just horrible.
Gen of Eve –
These pellets aren’t very good quality for the intent. They do scoop pretty easy when dry, but they breakdown and leave a lot of dust when they get wet. I have to change these out every couple of days and the pad is always covered in dust. I won’t buy these again.

I got these pellets to try as an alternative to the Breeze pellets bc they are expensive. This seemed ok at first – but they are really messy and inconvenient. I use this pellet system bc it’s the best and so much better than regular litter, and the Breeze pellets were getting expensive. So I decided to try these. However these are messy, and it’s almost worse than regular litter. The pee breaks down the pellets and it makes a sandy mess. Not to mention it gets everywhere just like regular litter. One litter box full is supposed to last a month I think, and doesn’t even last a week. The Breeze pellets last a month (for one cat) and I haven’t calculated it, but this now probably costed me way more bc it didn’t last close to as long as it was supposed to, and left a huge mess. Back to Breeze pellets it is and not looking back. I just will need to try to find the least expensive place to purchase them. Even if I have to pay more for them I will bc they are clean, easy to change, and last a long time.

The litter came loose in a box but was advertised as coming in a bag. The box is useless for storage. Also, we ordered the small pellets as we have a filter litter tray but the pellets delivered were large. We are returning this product.

The cat litter is good quality. It arrives loose in a large box which is not easy to store as it needs to lay flat to access it. The cat litter box also arrives in another extra large box which is too much cardboard for my wheelie bin.
It is shown advertised in a bag so really annoyed that it came in an oversized box!
