this is my cat’s favorite toy, and we keep extras to replace the one she tears up. She will imitate hunt it, catch it, unalive it and bring it to mom as a present just like cats do in the wild. I am just happy it is a toy and not a real mouse. She even has a special meow that she does. It really helps with her confidence.

This cute and soft (part plush, part furry, part rope, and part felt) SmartyKat Bouncy Mouse toy arrived timely from Amazon with another toy, both well protected in a padded envelope. Mine is gray, with pink legs and green hands & feet. Per the reviews the color varies. The thick little head with body together are approximately 3 inches long, and the little dangly legs add an additional 2 inches. If you push the fur close to the body, the toy is approximately 1 & 1/2 inches wide at hips, with the dangly arms each measuring approximately 2 inches on each side. The ring is attached with a knotted cord. At approximately 4.5 inches long, the cord is a little too short to be practical in play with kittens and cats with sharp claws, but could be carefully cut off at the little creature’s head if you wanted to remove it. I paid only a couple of dollars for this toy on Amazon, and noted it’s currently being sold at a big box store (W) for the same price. The toy is a gift to be included with others under the tree, so I can’t rate the durability yet, but it appears to be made well. For the reasonable cost, size, cuteness, varying textures, and apparent durability, I have to give this one a rating of 5 stars. If it fails the durability test after gifting, then I’ll edit this review, but it would have to fall apart pretty quickly not to be worth the couple of dollars I’ve invested. A current message indicates shipping in 1 to 2 months, when I click on re-purchase from Amazon, so order with caution if you need it quickly. At the current price, this toy is a good value, so it might be worth it even if you have to wait, and gift it later.

Very cute cat mouse. I bought it as a replacment for my cats tree dangle. Its got medeum durability I’m not sure it will last a long time as he’s a shreader but it’s cute while it lasts. The size is a little smaller than I thought but that’s fine with me. And it is on a bungee string so It does bounce well. Was very easy to install to tree

My cat loves it as much as he loves stealing socks out of the laundry. He plays very viciously with it and it is still intact. Also it dries nicely after being submerged.

We have gone through at least 5 or 6 of these mice since September…! Phoebe absolutely LOVES them. She carries them around the house, throws them in the air, bats it all over the place. She’s always liked any toy we’ve given her but this one takes the cake. We’ve learned the take the ring off because the plastic hitting the floor for hours on end drives us nuts. My only complaint is that the stitching in the back always seems to open up. Thankfully, they aren’t expensive so I don’t mind so much. I should add that Phoebe is a very active 1 year old kitty. I don’t know what’s in these mice that’s different from other toys but they’re fantastic for keeping active kitties busy!

I originally found this toy at a local pet store and my three cats didn’t really care for it at first (two don’t really play with toys and the other just liked other toys more) but when I got my fourth cat she just fell in love. It’s easily her favourite toy. Her original one ended up getting pretty ratty (mainly because one of my dogs got it) but she still loved playing with it and still plays with it but I found this online since the pet store wasn’t selling them anymore and ordered it and she loves it, my other cat that likes playing with toys loves it as well (I think she likes it because it’s not ratty like the other one) and there’s been a few times in which the two cats that don’t like toys have batted at it or pushed it with their nose, and then walked away, but still.
My only critic is that some of the stitching ripped. The first one was understandable because my dogs are quite big and it wasn’t made for them but the one I order from here had the one seam rip within days. It was easy enough to stitch back up and me and my family think that maybe the stitch was just bad on that one and quality control missed it but like I said it was an easy enough fix and she’s been playing with it for a month now and it looks the same as when we got it.
Overall would recommend and will buy again in the future.

My cats haven’t used them as much as I had hoped however, all cat parents know that when it comes to cats nothing is a given. I’ll just keep moving them to different spots and, putting the scent of catnip on them in hopes that they will enjoy them. If not, their still cute danglies for hanging.
