First of all, I’m admittedly an audiophile snob. So keep that in mind when reading my comments. This fit, finish, and execution of this product is excellent. The app and setup process was completely troublefree and I had the pair of these configured and playing in stereo in about 10 minutes. I really appreciate the tactile control on the top of the speakers for pause, play and volume up and down.
The sound quality was a mixed bag for me. The top end is very even and without any stridency. There is a modest amount of mid range suckout. This was somewhat disappointing for me as I listen to a lot of female jazz singers. Vocal reproduction is often missing the natural timbre that you get from higher end speakers and headphones. Vocalist can sound “thin” and somewhat nasley. And then there is the bass.
Once these speakers are placed properly (8-10 feet apart) and the listener is positioned to create a triangle from the speakers, the bass is somewhat shockingly good for speakers of this size. I had to turn the loudness feature off and dialed the bass down (-2) in the EQ setting. The response from the bass with these settings is still stong and punchy, and there is even a bit of texture to the sound. How Sonos is able to accomplish this with a speaker these size, I just don’t understand.
The convenience of the stereo pair and overall performance of the speakers make these a keeper for me despite being an audiophile. I’ll probably look to add a Sonos sound bar in the future.

Doesn’t play music anymore since I did the true tone test. Customer support is a 65 minute wait on the phone. Going back! All videos show this is an easy setup, it is NOT! Tested and retested after tru tone test. All test sounds are audible but music won’t play through this speaker even tho it says it’s still connected via Bluetooth to this speaker. Very disappointed and will never buy ANY Sonos product again! Poor support and product doesn’t work. And BTW, if the customer has to wait 65 minutes on the phone for help and is placed 49th in line on chat help, you have a VERY troublesome product, lots of problems!

I bought a pair of these to serve as surround speakers in my home theater setup. Like all SONOS speakers they are a bit pricey, but they are self-powered, and integrated into our SONOS system seamlessly. I haven’t used the Alexa feature, as these sit behind my sofa, with the backs of the speakers on the floor and the drivers pointed upwards. I can do this even though the speakers are round because I bought some metal wall mounts that I can turn horizontally to hold them in place on the floor. I have been impressed with the sound quality and surprised at the number of times I turn around and look behind me because I heard a noise when it’s just part of the movie. Very satisfied.

Purchased for x-mas gift for someone who uses phone to listen to music. Set-up was a little harder than anticipated; you need to read on-line instructions. I expected to be able to pair this by bluetooth straight out of the box; I was wrong. It MUST be set-up on a Wi-Fi network first and ownership claimed via e-mail (these are good things albeit unexpected). The sound quality is mind blowing! As is the volume level capability

Los vinculé con el Arc y el sub para tener un gran sonido en casa y con la app le puedes dar mayor poder o calidad, sin embargo no soy conocedor de sonido, quería algo cercano a estar en cine por mis ratos libres pegados a la tv y música, mejoró SÍ pero con el Arc y sub suena bastante bien. Siento que fue capricho el tenerlos de altavoces los 2, tal vez solos o independientes les pueda sacar más provecho uno. Le pongo 5 porque suenan muy bien y para lo que los compré intensificó mi “teatro en casa”, pero para un espacio chico a medio con el Arc y sub es suficiente, créanme, este Arc suena increíble. I bought the Era to replace the Echo dot speaker that was crackling, It took a few tries to connect via bluetooth and it works perfectly. All echo sounds come through the Era and it sounds great.

I have owned a few other stereo systems. And the Sonos has been the best sounding for me. I paired these with Sonos sound bar and sub mini. It really feels like I am sitting in a movie theater. You can hear every crackle and boom. Rewatching The Force Awakens was spectacular
