These furniture anchors are just what I was looking for for my son’s nursery. He’s of crawling age now and we needed to secure all his furniture to prevent tipping. I did not want to use the included furniture anchors that came with the furniture as they were made of plastic and had zip ties to secure them. While I think they could work, I feel more comfortable with this all metal set.
The actual anchors are stainless steel. I was concerned at first because they’re white that they might have been made of plastic but no they are all metal and painted white. That’s a nice touch as the white blends much better if you can see behind the furniture instead of seeing a metal color. Lastly the ties are also metal and screw closed. They can be wrapped up multiple times to shorten the length and also improve the strength even more. I feel much more safe and comfortable having these in my son’s room. Great set. And with 10 anchors I can do 5 pieces of furniture.

I liked that this kit is much more inconspicuous than some other styles of furniture anchors (L brackets, flexible straps, etc). It was very easy to completely hide behind the furniture so it can’t be seen from normal viewing angles. I used this kit to secure all of the furniture to the walls in the new nursery my wife and I just built for our first child. Based on where we wanted the furniture located, I wasn’t able to mount the wall bracket on studs which does bother me a little bit but this would’ve happened regardless of the anchor system used. The sheetrock anchors seem to hold sturdy enough to keep from ripping out of the wall.
The wire loops which secure the 2 brackets together are quite long, around 10″, so if you only pass the cable through the brackets once it will allow the furniture to tip away from the wall a bit before stopping it. I made sure to mount the furniture and wall brackets in positions which would be close enough together that I could loop the cable through the brackets twice before securing the cable screw. It was a real nuisance to actually get the cable fed through the brackets twice and have enough length to then tighten the lock collar but it was worth it since now it is much more secure. The furniture can only tip away from the wall about 1″ before catching on the cable this way versus almost 4″ when single looped. This should help to reduce pressure on the sheetrock anchors and keep all items on the shelving.

I have tried shaking and pulling the furniture from the wall with a force equivalent or exceeds what my toddler is capable of. These wouldn’t budge making them perfect for baby proofing the apartment

DON NOT BUY THIS! Tried to mount my toddlers bookshelf so it doesn’t topple over onto him.
But ironically,I can break these wires with a light tug,and I’m not a particularly strong person.I have broken these wires just by bumping into the bookshelf they were supposed to be anchoring.
After that we checked each one and found that almost all of the wires can be broken easily with gently pulled.
Our 18 month old is only 23 lbs and isn’t much of a climber so it’s terrifying that these didn’t hold up. The anchors would absolutely not protect a child if they were to try and pull a piece of furniture over.
Thanks god we realized this befor any of our furniture tipped over on our kids.
Do yourself a favor and dont cheap out on the safety of your kids.

Worked very well for securing my daughter’s furniture to the wall. Metal rings feel extremely sturdy and I don’t think they’re at any real risk for breaking. My husband was able to install the entire set over a few hours with no real issues except since we saw the review about using different screws, he did go ahead and use larger (longer?) screws in order to make the holding tabs more secure. Yes, there will be holes in the wall but it’s a small sacrifice in the name of safety. Overall very much recommended and the price is great for a 10 pack which is basically able to anchor 5 items total. That was exactly how many we needed so it was perfect for us!

Works well. I have plaster walls so drilling is not easy sometimes. These are in visible spots and it doesn’t look so bad. Also I had issue with one of the wires and the seller replaced it for me. That would be my only recommendation on improving it. extra wires would help in reaching weird angles of FUrnature if you can only drill in certain spots or just mess up or loose a wire. Or even an option of buying more wires would be nice. I had to use zip ties to help extend and reach my FUrnature as I could not drill into a closer spot in the wall. Figuring out what to do is how I messed up a wire probably
