Poetessa –
I wanted something extra delicious, that couldn’t be denied to use strictly as a training treat. These seem to fit the bill. Just a heads up, the pieces are all different sizes. I pull out a knife and cutting board and chop them up into “training treat size.” They tend to be a bit crumby or maybe even dusty. I use a training treat bag and keep it on my waist band. Towards the end there’s a good pile of beef liver dust. Not really a complaint though.
Kathy Delakas –
Most of the individual pieces are way too large to be used as training treats. They are fairly easy to cut to size. I like the training treats to be about the size of an English pea.
I also like to sprinkle finely graded parmesan cheese on the treats while they are still in my treat pouch. Sometimes I mix in some of the dog’s kibble with the liver so that it absorbs the liver smell and picks up some of the parmesan cheese. Then, the kibble can be used as treats.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, and I anticipate that I will reorder at the appropriate time.

My two little finicky dogs can’t get enough of these. They are better quality than conventional treats so they r healthy as well as good. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey.

As I said I used these when in the U.S. my 1st Beardie loved them had them for training my 1st as a show dog then retired & became the 1st dog to go into school to help children with their reading & now i have introduced my 2cnd to becoming a therapy dog.

Used these as training treats for 2 pitbull mixes. They don’t go bonkers for them but they definitely love them, which is what I wanted. These treats come in a variety of sizes so expect some prep if you need evenly sized treats. Also, they do smell a bit, hasn’t bothered me personally.

I homecook for my dogs. They need liver added to diet . I am not a fan of the smell of liver so I got these since they are beef liver. Dogs get several pieces a few days a week on top of meals. This helps balance the diet and the dogs think they get extra treats on top of delicious food. I love the big container, easy to open, easy to feed for large dogs & small.

I am writing this review for my dog – she is word processing challenged. It seems to be her opinion that these freeze dried liver treats are quite delicious and very acceptable
Amazon Customer –
I have been giving my Labradors these beef liver treats for about a year now and remain quite pleased. I’ve also bought the salmon treats and my girls love them just as much. When shopping for dog treats I’m always very mindful of the source of the product (USA is preferred) and its ingredients. I’ve been very happy with each shipment and my girls love them.
You know how some treats can upset you dogs tummy, maybe give them a softer stool for a day or two, or make them a little more gassy? I have not experienced any of that with the beef or salmon treats.
Con’s: there really aren’t any. But I will say, the listing says it’s a resealable container. It’s not an airtight container and sometimes the lid doesn’t click into place for me, but I prefer to have my dogs treats in airtight containers, so I do transfer them into my own containers; I have several throughout the house cuz you never know when the girls deserve a special treat! Also, as should be expected, the size of the treats in the container vary from shipment to shipment. Some containers will have a majority of larger pieces with a few handfuls of tiny bits and some containers will have more of the smaller bits than the large. I don’t mind this, as I use the smaller bits as a “sprinkle” on the dry dog food in the morning as a nice wake-me-up to start their day, and I use the bigger bits for actual treats for training and right at bedtime. Now, the salmon ones are always the smaller bits and have never been as big as the beef, so keep that in mind, if you try the salmon. My girls love the taste of both. Very happy with the brand and will continue using for many years.

They are amazing. A bit big for little dogs.

So got two of these yesterday, first Pic shows the amount of two put together, I did read some reviews that said the amount was lacking I don’t find that to be true for a topper made in the US I couldn’t be more pleased. I have two cat’s and bought this as a topper so they would have more protein in there diets. The second Pic shows what I just gave my Penelope for her breakfast. The third Pic shows my Penelope with a full belly.First the smell she went crazy and couldn’t wait for her breakfast this morning, I soaked five in warm water and mashed it up added her favorite wet food and she went crazy. She ate every bite. I don’t know why I didn’t get these sooner. For the money these can’t be beat plus there a one ingredient high protein made in the US the quality is outstanding, I’m happy as it’s a healthy add to her diet. And the value for me is perfect. All around great product.
Amazon Customer –
These treats seemed like a healthier alternative to some of the other treats I saw listed. I bought them for the Activities lady at my care center, who delivers my Amazon packages to me. She has a therapy dog that she brings to work, and the dog, Lily, is always sniffing around my room looking for snacks. She probably smells the snacks I have for myself, so I decided to get her some treats for when she comes in with my deliveries. Lily eagerly took one after sniffing it, then wanted more, so she must have liked the taste. After two bites, she still wanted more, but given how little was in the big container (it was barely 1/2 full), I decided to save the rest for future visits. Given the inexpensive price, it is a pretty fair deal. I only took off one star because the package made it look like there would be a lot more than there actually was. It does say there is only 1.5 oz in the container, but like most people, I was eyeing the container, not weighing it out in my head. I would prefer they put the treats in a clear package, so you can get a better idea of how much (or little) is in the container. The picture shown only has two small pieces taken out of it, and you can see how empty it looks.
