Works great on varmints

I like the fact the Stoeger has many diffrent options to choose from. Your grip your butt stock ETC. I didnt like the fact the barrel moves left right up and down. I can never zero out my scope. When I bought the gun new and had it deliver I was skeptical because the box was damaged. I’m sure because the box was damaged messed up the barrel. Immediately refunded. Be careful when buying.

21 shot group in pic, what’s not to like? Magazines have a learning curve but simple to load after you figure them out. Pump is adequate but you need some weight on you use it, somewhere around 180lbs I’d say. Benjamin PCP 14.3 grain pellets work well for me. Swapped the scope for a Bugbuster 3x12x32, although the provided fixed power was not bad at all. Supressor works well and keeps things nice and quiet. My first step up from a Gamo Big Cat 1250 and I am enjoying it.

The rifle is amazing but only issue is the hand pump does not pump I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I feel I did everything right but the air cylinder will not fill with air through the pump as if the air is getting stuck somewhere in the line to the rifle

I ordered this rifle. It became lost in shipping. Tracking went dark. I had to contact Amazon. A replacement was ordered. It arrived when they said the replacement would come a week later. It came in a large box. I was glad about this because I did not want a box looking like a rifle attracting attention on the porch. The actual air rifle box inside had no seal. Maybe this is how they come.
Inside the box the items seemed disheveled. There are foam compartments to hold the items orderly but stuff was not in them. The rifle was pre-charged with 200 bar of air. I was surprised. The air hose has quick couplers on both ends and a gauge. It was capped at one end and it was holding pressure as well. The base plate had marks like it was already installed as well as mud. The tall comb had sand inside and mud on the outside. The pics above show what I am talking about.
The rifle seems to operate perfectly. It is good. When it came time to recharge the rifle the first time. The included pump would not. The gauge on the hose would quickly increase to red but the rifle’s tank would not fill. After diagnosing the hose, there is a green soft seal between the hose and the filter housing. If the hose has too much torque as received it seals shut and you can not fill the rifle. It the hose is too loose you have a leak. I modified the seal and torqued it properly and everything is working now.
I have shot approximately 200 pellets thru now. I have recharged after about every 40 shots. I bought this rifle to be a gateway to PCP rifles and determine if I would have range anxiety about having to charge the reservoir. I was also curious about the noise level, accuracy, and power. I am really liking this rifle but evidence shows something is suspicious with the history of this rifle therefore I am giving it one star.

Very accurate air rifle
Tim –
Easy to pump up, very accurate, changed the scope, just because it had no magnification, great quality for the price

CONS:
– Bent barrel, can’t shoot on target without major modification. See video for misalignment.
– Can’t remove spacers without custom drilling/modification.
– Unable to visually clear barrel (problem with all PCPs).
– Long and heavy with the fixed suppressor.
PROS:
– Fun to shoot and quiet.
– Good interchangeable cheekpiece, easy to swap.
– Includes a good pump, but the pump gage and the rifle gage have different safety limit zones, watch your rifle pressure.
This was my first air rifle, but I’ve hunted with several firearms and scopes. Rifle barrel is bent. You can’t bore sight it like a traditional firearm. Air pump and magazine worked well, but it won’t shoot on target. After a tough day at the rifle range, adjusting the scope to it’s limits, even putting a beer can shim under the scope, it still shoots 2 inches too low at 10 yards away.
Additionally, the 2 recoil-pad spacers would need some custom milling of the stock to be removed. The pin which holds them aligned hits the stock, so if you need to remove spacers, you must cut the pin or drill the stock.
I like the PCP action and the magazine, but be careful, you can’t visually clear the chamber. Once the pellet is chambered, it’s out of sight for good. I accidently got two rounds chambered and had to use a clearing rod to avoid a double fire. If you’re unsure if a pellet is in the chamber, manual says dry fires are ok.
