3200psi is a lie. My gas one that I bought from Lowe’s is 2800 and removes dirt off patio with ease. This doesn’t do anything. Same power on one tip as the rest of them. Buy gas

Pressure washer works as it should. I will rarely use anything but the 15degree nozzle. I wish the pressure hose was 2x as long, causes one to have to drag the unit around more often. Soap system works better than my previous pressure washers.
Do not leave these out to freeze, they will crack easily.

So I had a Sun Joe SPX3001 that passed away at the tender age of five from a failed pressure regulating valve. It was pretty good, but I was sorely disappointed that I spent quite a bit of money on this machine, for it to quit on me from a poor quality part that can’t be replaced. I went to electric after the second gas unit I had stopped running from a gummed up carb. (I now only use non-alcohol added gas in small engines) I started not to buy another Sun Joe because of it’s pre-mature and non self-induced failure, but I had couple accessories that I wanted to make sure I could use, so I took another chance and purchased this machine. It is almost half again as powerful as the other unit, and works quite well. It has as much power as most gas powered units, and has a nice long power cord. Don’t waste your money on the units with the cute little hose reels that are like wrestling a bear to get rolled back up, and are top heavy so they fall over all of the time. Don’t worry about detergent bottles, as common household cleaners may damage the pump. Get a garden sprayer, pretreat, then power wash it off. Don’t worry about spinny brushes, or wheeled deck sprayers, all you really need is strong motor and pump, which this unit provides, and the standard nozzles plus a turbo-nozzle if you have mud covered vehicles, moldy bricks/concrete or heavy soils to wash off. (Not included with this kit, but available on Amazon) This machine and a little work will help make your property look new again.

Barely used so far. Nothing great but not too bad. Does the job but I’ll update the review once I’ve used it a bit more.

Great out of the box.

I used this for about 4 hours since purchase to clean the side of my garage and to strip out door wood deck chairs. The washer came well packaged, and assembly was easy. I motor is brushless and an inverter which is a big plus. It’s relatively quiet and while some of the negative reviews claim it is not powerful, it cut into the wood chairs with the 15-degree nozzle. It is not comparable to a gas washer and unfair to do so. I cannot say if it is delivering the pressure as claimed but I have used a 1500 pressure washer and this is much more powerful. As for the build quality and useful life, time will tell. There is a fair amount of plastic and I hope that that hose connection to the motor is strong enough to not be a future problem. The power cord is heavy duty and a good length with a built in gfi. The hose and wand are of good quality. It will do the job for most home owners.

This worked great for washing my vehicles, but it’s no longer working correctly which is very disappointing considering it probably hasn’t been used more than a couple of hours a year for a few years – maybe 6 hours max. But I assume it’s out of warranty.
The problem (in case Sunjoe is watching and would like to know) is that it sounds like a frozen electric motor. The thing is, the main compressor still runs, but it sounds like there’s a second motor that’s locked up. When the compressor isn’t making noise, the locked up motor sound is very prominent. After running for a few minutes, the whole thing shuts off – either it’s aware of the improperly functioning motor or it’s overheating because of it. Either way, it’s pretty much useless now. Today was also the first time I tried to use the detergent tank. It never sucked in a drop of the liquid – which made me wonder if that second motor noise might be a circulation pump for the detergent tank.
Whatever it is, it’s very disappointing from a name I trusted. (We have a second, battery-powered SunJoe and so far it’s working well. It’s probably had twice as much use as this one.)
