So I’ve been using this for 3 days and I am happy to have a way to exercise while sitting at my desk. I did a lot of research before buying this and it seemed to be rated one of the best. It does the job but there could be some improvements for sure. I like that it’s light weight and fits under the desk. It could be constructed better for the intended use. The “legs” should have more weight to hold the machine securely down when peddling. The the two side pieces slip off all day. The machine lifts up a lot. I also notice no change in resistance when changing that setting. Also the display isn’t the smartest and doesn’t work well at all. I don’t use it …it’s pointless. I will continue to use it because something is better than nothing. But it makes me wonder if there are better steppers out there.

Tried this right out of the box and the pedals don’t turn smoothly, they jerk: first there’s strong resistance, then suddenly no resistance and then too much resistance in just one turn of the pedal. It’s very annoying to use so I am returning it.

OK, so everyone is aware that the pedal cranks are much shorter than a normal exercise bike, right? That is to be expected for an under desk exercise bike. But, it actually falls short on a couple important matters. 1. if you wear modern athletic shoes, your heels will often catch the floor as you complete a rotation. 2. you have to have an abnormally high desk to not whack your knees.
This is best suited as a moderate tool for the elderly and sedentary to get their blood flowing. Nothing more. Everyone else is better off finding a regular exercise bike (for 2x the cost – with a heavy flywheel). An active person will use this once or twice before getting exasperated with their sneakers catching carpet every other rotation.

The peddeler is quiet, sturdy and yet easy to move with handle. The readings for speed, distance, etc are hard to see, but overall happy with it.

Overall, I’m happy with this product. It is very sturdy and works as it should. The reason why I only gave it 4 stars is that I had trouble assembling it. The issue was that I could not detach the left pedal from the left nut. After a lot of frustration, time and energy, I eventually found out that the left pedal is REVERSE THREADED, so you have to turn the left nut to the right to detach it from the left pedal. This crucial information is not in the instruction manual, and the right pedal is threaded normally, so it wasn’t immediately obvious. Once I knew about the reverse threading, the peddle exerciser was relatively easy to assemble. However, I did not think the two spanners provided in the box were sufficient. I also needed to use a wrench and pliers.
