I really loved these lights while they were working. The brightness was awesome and they lit up my backyard very well. The different colors were really cool. I was extremely happy with them UNTIL.. out of the blue they all started to give out and just started doing whatever they wanted. I couldn’t control them anymore, the soft white color went out and they just started dying. All of this within 9 months. I wouldn’t buy these again since they are basically disposable. While they work, it’s awesome but they don’t seem to last at all.

Colors are changeable, but not as intense as floodlight bulbs. Have to be pointed directly at whatever you want highlighted; bark of tree. Floodlights you can shine at the tree and the whole tree is illuminated. These are very different but they are very nice. Not too impressed with all of the colors but the electric savings is worth it. Well-made, metal steaks, metal housing.

I absolutely love these spot light, especially the change of color if I so choose. I was getting tired of the dim solar lights and not lasting that long. After changing batteries on the solar lights, I found that they still did not work. I am very pleased with this order. It makes my house look so nice.

2nd review 1/29/24:
2 months after my last review, I’ve had more of these lights die. DON’T waste your money if you plan on using these as spotlight everyday. There is ZERO reason for so many of these lights to die in a short timespan. Complete waste of money. I’m now buying all new spot lights and switching to regular PAR38 bases and LED single color bulbs. I’m very disappointed in this product by SUNVIE after spending so much money on their products.
I bought 12 of these in October 2022 for my palm trees in Florida. They look great at night and worked well up until the 14 month mark, (2 months out of warranty). I’ve now had 2 separate lights quit working on me within 2 weeks. They are supposed to last 50,000 hours and but these stopped working at close to 3,000 hours. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the remaining 10 at this point and at almost $15 per light average, that shouldn’t be the case. I feel like I may have wasted $180. The other issue I see is the lenses get substantial buildup from rainwater and sprinklers. The water doesn’t simply roll off without “sticking” and leaving a white buildup over time. Not good for an “outdoor” light. I wish they at least made a lens protector similar to phone protectors that could be stuck on and replaced after buildup started. My only other complaint isn’t so much for this particular light but I wish they made it in either a 15W or 18W model so they were just a tad brighter. No such luck.

I ordered these to replace a 8 year old set of low voltage lights. These lights are brighter but more of a spot light a-posed to flood. Work good but you have to un-plug individually and set color of each light if you want multiple colors on same tree. Example…Red White Blue.

The lights themselves are fantastic, for our purpose the rf remote is terrible. The light output, saturation and build quality is fantastic. We are very happy. I like the all metal construction, bolt on metal spike and hooded fixture. The lights themselves are super solid. I did manage to bend the bracket while pushing it into the ground with the spike, slightly thicker bracket metal would be great or some sort of bead rolled into it for strength. The biggest down side for my use is the remote. It uses rf rather than ir. The upside is the range is significantly longer. The downside is that when you want to control individual lights it’s practically impossible. I had to take individual lights from the front yard to the back yard, cover them with objects and aim towards the ground before changing the color and still half the time it would change the color of all the lights on the front yard. I would love an ir version of the light. We still plan on ordering more. Also the lights spent a month outside in October in Ohio and worked great. Out of 8 lights we have one that died and would love a replacement for it.
