The hairdryer I received was faulty. It took a month to get my return. Don’t purchase on amazon, go to best buy or ulta/sephora.

I am like many others, I see the price and go “Good god, that much for a dryer? No way the price is worth it.”
I am so sad to report it is, in fact, worth the price.
– You can notice the difference immediately upon first use. My hair is dense, thick, wavy hair. Most hair dryers I have tried over the years, take at least 10-20 minutes when drying right out the shower. I also tend to start sweating, as I have to take a longer time thus heating up my scalp.
– The dyson dried my hair out the shower in 5 MINUTES. Yes 5 MINUTES. I was stunned. The heat settings are well programmed, as the medium and low settings do not overheat the scalp over a period of time. The cold button was fast and responsive.
– I was skeptical of its design, with the open blower, but it works perfect. In fact, I like the longer handle, as I can more easily get to the back of my head. The weight is perfect, just heavy enough and just light enough to not strain the hand.
– The attachments are also excellent. The fast drying attachment does exactly as it says, so does the fly away attachment.
Now I have just one con:
– It does not come with a travel bag. For being expensive as it is, its silly it does not come with a travel bag.
Despite my initial scoffing at the price, I can confidently say this is absolutely worth the price.
I will warn, the supersonic is similar to a basic hair dryer. If you want to do curling, straightening, etc, you need to get the other dyson hair dryer. For me, the basics is all I need, but if I decide to style my hair more, I would definitely consider getting the other dyson dryer.

There are many great hair dryers. For my family, TIME is the issue. Who has the time to sit around drying your hair?? We want a dryer that works fast so we can get to what we need to do. Although very expensive, this is the best dryer to get the job done quickly. The rapid flow of air combined with high heat dries more quickly than the other less powerful products. Yes, this is terribly expensive, three or four times the cost of some very fine hair dryers. But if you want the best, and a few minutes of saved time each day means a lot to you, then this is the product for you. Like other Dyson products, this is a well engineered and finely made product, very worthy of a fine set of hair care tools. Also, it is relatively small in size, and more easily stored and dealt with than the other dryers which are much larger. The electrical cord if heavier and shorter than for other driers, but that issue is not a deal breaker, given the other advantages of this fine product.

This is my 2nd purchase. The original worked for 4 years but decided to buy a new model. The device is lighter, without any compromise to it’s efficiency. Several new attachments which allow a salon approach to hairdressing.
Overall, worth the money if you want one.

Sin lugar a dudas es sencillamente la mejor secadora de cabello que existe. En general la marca Dyson es muy costosa, pero en verdad vale cada peso que pagaste por ella. Después de tener una Dyson (aspiradora, alisadora, ventilador etc.) no querrás comprar ninguna otra nunca más.
Todo llegó muy bien! Me encantó la secadora, entrega rápida, lo único q me hubiera gustado q trajera es un estuche como las otras versiones, es un poco más complicado cuidarla sin estuche –
