Just unbelievable. Great fabrication quality. The pick up systems sounds great. It is lovely to play. Gear Tree gave me a great service. I will buy from them again for sure,
Amazon Customer –
Excellent. I’m very happy I bought it. It’s smaller than my Yamaha FGX700 acoustic steel string but this is a nylon string classical guitar. Shipped from GearTree and arrived cross country in 4 days standard shipping.
The tone is great. Not a smudge mark on it’s high gloss finish. The case fits perfectly. I did receive the wrong manual however.
It seems to play very well for the 1 day that I’ve had it, but the strings seem very high. May have it set up if I detect any buzz but none so far.
laraujo –
This is a very good guitar for the price. It’s easy to play and handles high and low tones very well
Jack –
I can’t quite put it to words but this guitar was not inspiring in tone.

Very pleased!

As I paid a hefty penny for this guitar, you would think I would receive one that had been tested and sent to me in working condition. The strings rattle bad, and the guitar will need to be repaired right out of the box. So lesson learned. Do not buy musical instruments from mail order. Go to your local stores.

Just got this in the mail and man I am VERY impressed. I’ve been playing for nearly 30 years and can tell you: if you’re thinking of getting this Takamine, GET THIS DEAL. Top notch FAST shipping. Guitar was in a protective bag, inside the (high quality) case, INSIDE a well-packed box and arrived days early. The guitar is FLAWLESS…not even a fingerprint. Perfect in every way. Sounds amazing! Yes this is a full-sized classical guitar (they are smaller than standard steel string guitars) and yes this is an amazing deal…basically you are getting a free hard case with this guitar and not a crappy cardboard hard case; this thing is a solid, travel-worthy case. Loads of attention to detail on the product and shipping too…from the vendor-branded packing tape to the little sign wrapped around the bag and neck proclaiming “This Instrument is Strung With D’Addario Pro-Arte Classical Guitar Strings” to the fully charged battery in the tuner/pre-amp, this is clearly sent from a company that handles things very professionally.
