More correctly, my cat loves them. He’s gotten so spoiled with these treats that he whines when I won’t let him eat these exclusively. He’s even tried to pull a hunger strike so he can have these and other flavors of Temptations as his sole source of food. When he hears the container shake, he comes running, meowing the whole way. I purchased many different flavors and will sometimes line them up and he will stand in front of the container with the flavor he wants or he will just stand by his dish if he doesn’t care which flavor he gets. He’s like a kid getting a candy bar, when the kid doesn’t get much candy. Fortunately, these are formulated to be a healthy food for cats and can be more than just a snack, though more expensive than regular cat food. After these, he turns his nose up at other brands of cat treats and prefers these even over cat nip.

Our cats can plow through these containers in a week’s time. At the same time, they prefer the tuna (but will tolerate the fish from time to time).
It is nearly impossible to find the 16oz packaging in my local retail locations. I did find it once in a warehouse club, but they stopped carrying it.
Initially I worried that the container would not keep the product fresh. The seal on the lid is actually pretty tight, and they do stay fresh (not that they are keeping any longer than a week around here).
I appreciate the narrow bottom of the container, as it makes for easier storage and allows it to not be a complete shelf hog.
The treats are, apparently, laced with some sort of mind altering additive. I can get my cats to do nothing without first offering them a handful of temptations (come in the house, come out from under the bed, etc…). Now I simply shake the container and all come running and line up for delivery of deliciousness.

I have no idea what they put in these but they are ‘cat crack’ in their irresistability. These really WORK at making the cats lives better. I foster rescued cats and the number of times I have NEEDED a go-to to get sick cats eating and on the mend, to welcome or get a nervous cat relaxed, get cats to the vet, encourage cats who don’t get along- to interact safely and like each other, to get bored or overweight cats interested in healthy activities, to get cats into new homes, to get my guys happy here- THESE worked where pretty much everything else either failed outright. They also proved cost-effective and convenient r where other treats (if maybe ‘healthier’) were too costly, too messy or impractical (opening cans of tuna- not every cat likes fish. Buying organic treats they shun, using many other treats that are perishable.) These almost never fail, they keep well, the big container is a great value over the little store bags, and these can be put in baggies.
I’ve tried the Feline Greenies version. Some cats like those too. But not as many. And at the rate you need treats, it’s no so much that the ‘less orgainci etc’ ones negatively affect a diet, and yet the bulk buy is inexpensive enough to always have a go to tret, and go to near irresistable ‘cat helper and reward’ available.

My cats refuse to type their review of this product and are having an intense Pavlovian response from me just mentioning the word “treat”, so I’ll hereby refer to these as “Scooby Snacks” to keep their mews to a minimum. I’ve got two fantastic felines who are finicky as anything about their food and treats, and go absolutely crazy for these. Beginning to wonder if I’m possibly missing out on something and tempted to try some myself, but scared the cats might bite my hand for digging into their stash. I’m super pleased with the price for this 4-pack vs anything I’ve seen in stores, in addition to the convenience of Amazon’s shipping. To make sure my cats “work for it” a little bit and not become snack-slackers, I’ve been using the Snacky Mouse, TEMPTATIONS SNACKY MOUSE Cat Toy for Cat Treats which lets them bat around a silly looking toy to earn their “Scooby Snacks”. Only downside to these is that I’m constantly getting mauled by my kitties who seem increasingly eager for more of these tempting treats. Resealable package is a nice bonus and hard for them to open. Cats are happy, and I’m happy. Meow, meow meow.
