I’ve been buying TetraMin fish food as long as I can remember. These flakes are easy to serve (a pinch or so) and easily digested by my freshwater fishes. They do have a slight odor to them but I think this is good for the fish because it draws them in. I buy the large 7.06 oz size, which is very economical, and then transfer them to my smaller 2.2 oz container where I can easily just sprinkle them over the tank with the slide top. I have a floating foam serving area where I sprinkle the flakes so that they don’t circulate everywhere and the fish knows exactly where to go when they see me come by. The flakes will stay afloat as long as the fish don’t make too much commotion (unlikely) so they will start to sink pretty quickly and get sucked into the filtration system. This is why it’s important to not just put a handful and walk away or the flakes will just sink down and sink on the bottom or get sucked and trapped inside the filter. I take time to slowly sprinkle and watch them eat and then sprinkle again within a two minute time frame. I don’t have any bottom feeders so if the food sits at the bottom, it rarely gets eaten and then just becomes waste. This is most apparent at the end of the month, when I have to vacuum up uneaten food and waste. Fed properly, this quantity should last a long time and the tank will not get too dirty and cloud up, or worse, promote algae growth. Overall, I would definitely recommend these flakes because my fishes do love them (which means they must be delicious!). The fishes are are healthy, happy and colorful. I’d give them 4.5/5.0. -10/20/2014

well I git this kind of fish food because says it supports immune health but seems the same to me and my baby angel fish like it and I have nine angel fish -five baby angel fish and one an old male and one I guess you would call it an juvenile and two young angel fish and three algae eaters ( plecos) and four Cory catfish and two loaches that are nocturnal only see in light so I see but they go crazy in light but the taste is shrimp flavor but the regular tetra fish food has it in there so I think this by-product this is probably just for marketing the plus but not really totally different just plus like it’s says and softness it’s flakes it kinda soft and functionality well my angel fish eat it and my Cory catfish eat it and there health seems fine haven’t lost any besides having 11 Cory catfish and have them having five left over from the the power outage from the affects of the hurricane Helene and lost three angel fish and eventually replaced them but anyway color is pretty has red and yellow ish color I guess line it fish food and the durability ummmm it’s fish food but recommend this too hobbyists and pros of the fish trade.

Large container is lasting a good long time for our fish. Cheaper when buying large.

Since I have been feeding my Columbian Red fin Tetras, and my Dwarf Gourami this food their colors have seemed to brighten. My fish are healthy and active. They love it, and gobble it up. Excellent price, and good quality flakes.

I’m thankful that TetraMin made this nutrition, color engaging, less cloudy flake food. It’s the perfect food for diverse population of fresh water fish in my aquarium. It works well with my automatic-timed fish feeder, so the fish are consistently fed the right amount every day (twice/day). They like it. They are healthy and bright. The tank stays clearer.
