I pure these on my violin because it was having issues with high and harsh overtones. It fixed the issue. These strings have great pitch and tone accuracy. It’s possible to play many styles and get a lot of extra voices if you need. Not for everyone but I like them!! Also, they get a bit better with age and last a long time!

I’ve played Vision Solos for about 10 years now. I’ve tried a lot of other strings out of curiosity but I always come back to these.
They’re everything I need — powerful but not harsh, clear speaking but still warm. They respond well to light bow pressure but give you juice when you need it. They really stand up well to Evahs but Evahs start to lose their sweetness and sound flat at 6 weeks; w Vision Solos an A and D are still good at 3-4 months of heavy playing and the G can last a year in my experience. The longevity makes these strings a really good value.
Obviously, as with most string sets, you throw away the E. I use a Westminster 26 or an Amber E (the former is a high-tension trumpet; the latter is mellow). There are a lot of good Es out there.

J’utilisais les Thomastik Dominant avec la cordé Mi de GoldBrokat. Les Vision Solo sont nettement mieux: le son est plus fort, plus chaud, les cordes sont plus faciles à jouer. Franchement ca vaut le cout.
