Got this as a gift for my 6 year old nephew. He loves looking at the night sky all the stars and the moon . This telescope works perfectly in the backyard at night and even in his room looking out the window. He’s very happy with this telescope. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new beginner telescope that’s works great and is very reasonably priced.

If your kid is super into the space like ours is, get this!! She has been able to see constellations and some planets. Her favorite is the moon. I am really impressed with this little telescope! The detail you can see on the moon is more than I expected from a $70 telescope, that’s for sure! It’s on the wobbly side (I guess because it’s “portable” it’s not made to be heavy) so on nights that it’s windy, we just have to set it up inside behind the window. Otherwise the wind makes it wobble so much that you can’t really see clearly. Overall though, I think this is a great little starter telescope. I mean, hubbs and I pull it out for our own enjoyment from time to time!

First off, this was a gift I bought for my 6 year old nephew. He loves the stars and moon (I do too) and he wants to join NASA one day. Yea, he is young and may change his mind later but for now, I’m going to indulge his dream. He has a starry sky night light, constellation posters and key chains. My sister Also uses the star gazing app on her phone so he can find those constellations. Lol. Anyways, this was my first telescope purchase ever. Glad I went with this one. I watched many reviews of this particular model on youtube. I have watched other videos on how to use different features (any model was fine cause i was learning the basics) cause its a tad different from riflescopes. Generally same thing but little bit diff. Mind you, I have trijicon, NF, and leupys. So i know my way around scopes.

I simply just put the Barlow (think I spelt that correctly) eyepiece on. Just to make sure it functioned and it did. I never used the tripod but it seems sturdy for an indoor/ desk telescope. Dont have to worry much bout wind affecting durability of the tripod. I looked at school tower approx. 4 miles away (free handed/ rested on a railing) and it was pretty damn clear for sub 70 bucks. Aint no nf or trijicon but thats also 15-20 times the price of this one. Besides its intended use is for the stars so the objective lens or aperature is where its at. Sounds kinda dumb how the large obj lens will gather light but it’ll be used at night lol.

Overall great for the price, cant really go wrong. Especially for a starter kit for my nephew!! If he likes it, which im sure he will, I will prob buy an eyepiece so he can possibly view Saturn’s rings. Did alot of research on that too. He lives on a diff island from me and his bday is a few days from now so he will get it soon.

I loved that the telescope was easy to assemble and use, and with a little adjustment get crystal clear views of the sky. I haven’t gotten to use it too much due to cloudy skies, but skywatching with this telescope is going to be a lovely pastime.

I gifted this to my niece for her birthday and both her and my sister absolutely love it. Since she’s only 4 my sister was the one who set it up but said it was super approachable and easy for the both of them. Both of them also LOVED the phone holder feature so that they can look at the cool moments while they’re scrolling through pictures later. I’m definitely going to be buying another for my own daughter now!

It is a nice little telescope. Perfect for beginners. Might take a while to know how to use it properly. But it dies the work when you know how to use it.
