Keek, An Amazon Customer –
This is a great multi-surge power strip. The 25 feet makes it so easy to have outlets where there are none. I have limited outlets and of cause there isn’t one where I need it, so I plug this into the outlet and run the cord between the wall and the rug, almost out of sight and have the power strip on the other side of the room. The 25 feet makes it possible. Also I should mention there are sliding pieces to cover the plug holes so no dust gets into the ones you’re not using. Definitely recommend this. This is my second one, the first one I ended up lending to a friend who needed to run some stereo equipment for a party, and I never got it back.

I love the 25ft cord. It’s saved me a few times in a few tricky situations where a single outlet extension cord just won’t cut it. It’s worked reliably so far. The cord is also very well insulated it looks. Haven’t had it trip out yet due to a power surge or anything so I can’t speak on it’s reliability that way.

The quality of this product is quite good. The cable seems to me to be exceptionally durable.

The first one I bought was faulty and didn’t work. Returned it and received a full refund. Ordered a second one that works perfectly. Good quality with a long 25 Ft cord. No complaints here.
Ofo –
Bought this specifically because of the cord length. Works as advertised with no issues. Love it!
Josh –

Long story. I bought a computerized Pfaff sewing machine. Right out of the box, the LCD screen frequently displayed a “motor overload” message and briefly stopped working. Then other times the entire screen went blank and no buttons worked. I did some online searching and found that a plain Jane brown extension cord could be the culprit. I looked down, sure enough. I was guilty. The posts I read said the computer is super sensitive to electrical fluctuations. So I bought a surge protector at a big box home improvement store. Same issues. Not only that, one day I plugged my vacuum into that so-called surge protector and I heard a pop and all the lights on it went out. Fried that one. Then I ordered this Tripp Lite 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip. I used it this weekend for the first time. I sewed for hours and hours for two days and that sewing machine didn’t have a single computer issue, not one. And this heavy duty 25′ cord is insanely long. I no longer have issues finding the nearest receptacle. Also, each socket on it has sliding dust protector cover that you can close when not in use. You also get a Lifetime Warranty and $75,000 Ultimate Lifetime Insurance for connected devices. AND, the prices it so reasonable. I love this surge protector. It literally saved my $1900 sewing machine from getting fried.

When you have a lot of gaming systems,TV’s and other stuff you definitely need an extra socket. Plus surge protection. This is still working with no problems

A small bedroom was going to be turned into an office, with laptop, printer, etc. The plans worked out perfectly, except that there turned out to be no outlets on the wall planned for the equipment itself. Do you know how hard it is to find a surge suppressor with a cord longer than 6 or even feet, at least without paying what seemed like exorbitant prices?
After shopping both locally and online, I came across this Tripp Lite surge protector and have found it to be exactly what I was looking for, and at a price well below most products with cords this long. It has great capacity, with space between the outlet slots large enough for the often ungainly plugs that some of this kind of equipment has. Though a 12 foot cord would have worked for my room arrangement, the longer cord is really helpful for just about any floor plan.
As with other surge protectors in my home, I have been fortunate enough not to have had the surge function tested, but the product specs and guarantee appear to provide the protection that I expect for this kind of equipment.

It was that time for me folks. You know, the time when it’s time to replace surge protectors? I needed a surge protector that had a longer cord due to my residential constraints, and I needed one that had a red light for the power/reset button. It may sound unrelated but about an hour before I go to sleep, I wear some blue blocker type glasses. If I had a surge protector with a blue indicator light, I would likely leave it on instead of switching it off. Blue Blocker type glasses completely block out blue light indicators. After doing a little research, I discovered Tripp-Lite was a reputable company that made a variety of surge protectors, and they made this one that fir my needs perfectly. The cord is a little long, however, if I decide to rearrange my furniture the extra length may be very much needed. I like everything about this surge protector.

Tripp Lite 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip, Extra Long Cord 25ft, was one of only a few UL listed choices available with this length of cord. Fortunately I have several other styles of Tripp Lite strips and have been happy with the quality so I had no qualms about ordering this one.
I turned an unused walk-in closet into my sewing center with three machines and other needed accessories. Since it was designed to be a closet there was only one outlet and it was on the far end of the opposite wall from when I wanted my machines. This Tripp Lite 8 Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip was just what I needed to bring power around to the right side and also protect my machines from surges.

I chose this one because the holes don’t interfere with each other when plugging in those big blocky plugs. Because it has two rows, the strip isn’t too long. We only needed just over 15 ft, but this was the best configuration of outlet holes available in the over-15 ft category. The only regret I have is I wish it had a couple of USB ports like some of the others.
