This is my 7th Beretta replica, 4 BB shooters and this one joins my other two pellet shooters. I love Berettas. All of my Berettas are great shooters and this one is no exception. It has a great trigger and the pistol has great realism in balance and operation. Accuracy is very good with 8 out of 8 pellets within a 2 inch target from 10 feet, and 5 out of 8 on average within a 2 inch target from 20 feet. I consider that pretty good for a short-barrel pistol, but the barrel IS rifled. I find that using a 2 inch target gives me a really solid way to evaluate any of my airguns, PCP or CO2. Moving further away is also good for rifle testing but handgun performance suffers greatly when you move out past 20 feet with hand held stance and it is too subjective to count anything much further due to short barrel and human performance.
That said, the black pellet version of the M92FS joins my other 2 in performance. Great accuracy. Performance specs as follows using 7.4 gr Crossman Wadcutters: Hi Velocity=424 fps, Lo=391, Mean Velocity=407 fps, SD=13.29 fps. The 7.4 gr Wadcutters passed spec in my opinion (i don’t count 1 fps under to be significant). Next time around might hit 425. Using 5.71 grain H&N non-lead Greens: Hi Velocity=472 fps, Lo=433 fps, Mean=455.2 fps and SD=15.34 fps. Most mfg performance figures seem to come from lighter weight pellets so I try to validate performance using them also whenever I can. Most mfg specs list Max velocity these days, rather than average, using lighter pellets rather than ‘average’ weight pellets for each caliber. Data was collected using an FX Radar Crony.
I am not a great fan of the ‘lever action’ pellet piercer mechanism but it does the job. You just have to get used to using the right thumbscrew tightening point. The weight of this pistol is realistic, balance is good, and trigger is great shooting single action (not bad in double-action, either). My other two M92FS Pellet airguns are Nickel with Wood handles and the other is Nickel with Black handles. I have added simulated wood grips on my new Black 92FS as soon as it arrived and I had tested the pistol. Unfortunately, I purchased the last set of grips from Pyramid Air for this pistol and they no longer stock the grips. These grips are specifically for the airgun version of this Beretta, rather than for a real Beretta, so they come with the hardware on the right hand grip. Be careful if you are looking for wood grips because you may have to sculpt them out with a Dremmel and adapt the snap-in hardware from the grips that came with the pistol. The sights on this model not with white dots. Front sight is thin and black. Rear sight is black but adjustable for windage.
I consider this Beretta to be a great addition to my collection and I love to use all of them. The BB versions of the Beretta series, A1, A3, 84FS, and the Cyanogen Swiss Arms versions are all great shooters with better than average accuracy. If you don’t have a Beretta in your collection, I strongly recommend adding one. They are all great shooters.

I was very impressed with the quality and construction of the Beretta M 92 FS All Metal .177 Caliber Pellet Gun Air Pistol. As other reviewers noted, the front sight is not firmly secured and does move around. I plan to use super glue as suggested to fix the front sight firmly in place. The front sight is not adjustable. The rear sight only provides azimuth adjustment and not elevation. This limits getting the accuracy of the pistol to its optimum. I found the barrel release initially hard to open to insert the pellet magazine. I thoroughly cleaned and lubricated the entire pistol. This made it operate smoothly and without any problem. Using a bench rest, I was able to consistently get a good grouping on the target. I am too shaky to make that assessment without a mechanical aid. At about 15 feet, the grouping was slightly low.
The feel of the gun is good. I can not make any comments about how this pistol compares with the real Beretta M 92 FS.
If you are somewhat of a novice like I am, I think that you will find this an excellent pellet gun and will enjoy shooting it.

Excellent out of the box. Solid, accurate, and excellent power. BUT (and this is a big “but”), the gun literally fell apart a few weeks later after only nominal use. When the cartridge release was toggled, the entire rack flew off along with assorted springs, screws and parts. Left holding a handle. Almost comical – if you hadn’t paid for this item. Have written to the seller repeatedly with no answer.
Buyer beware. Short-term fun, high risk support and quality medium term.

I’m pretty new to air guns, this is the third one I’ve bought and probably my favorite. I get 80+ shots on one CO2 capsule. I also bought the laser sight made for this pistol, it attached very easily and really helps in shooting this pistol that has a short barrel. I’m only giving it 4 stars because of the high price. But it is a quality air pistol.

Upon my purchase of the Umarex Beretta M92FS .177, my expectations were significantly exceeded, not only in terms of its exceptional performance but also in its astonishing realism. This air pistol, a CO2 powered masterpiece, mirrors the iconic Beretta M92FS, which has garnered global recognition and respect by military, police, and special forces worldwide. The attention to detail in replicating the original design is evident, making it an indispensable addition to any air gun collection or for those who appreciate the fine craftsmanship of shooting equipment.
The realism of this air pistol is nothing short of spectacular. From the moment it is unboxed, the quality and authenticity are palpable. Encased in a foam-lined plastic gun case, the Beretta M92FS comes prepared for display or immediate use. The inclusion of two 8-shot rotary magazines ensures that enthusiasts can fully immerse in the shooting experience without frequent interruptions for reloading.
Performance-wise, the Beretta pellet gun delivers with precision and reliability. The CO2 mechanism operates flawlessly, offering a consistent and powerful shot each time. Its accuracy is commendable, likely to impress even the most seasoned of air gun shooters. Used for target practice, this air pistol achieves a balance of functionality and enjoyment.
As an air gun collector and shooting enthusiast, the Umarex Beretta M92FS .177 has become a prized possession within my collection. Its unparalleled realism and outstanding performance capabilities make it a “must-have” item, as it not only serves as a tribute to the iconic Beretta M92FS but also elevates the shooting experience to new heights. I am thoroughly impressed by the craftsmanship and quality of this air pistol and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an air gun that refuses to compromise on realism or performance. This air pistol is a true representation of Umarex’s commitment to excellence.
