This is my first sifting litter box and it definitely hold up. I like having the extra tray. Totally worth the money spent on it. Easy to use even my daughter can do it. I got two for opposite sides of the house and I haven’t had any problems.

I’ve used all kinds of litter and litter boxes. With this box, I’ve used pellet litter and clumping litter. We have a multi-cat household.
Pellet dust and clumping litter stick to everything, so leave the sifting tray sandwiched in the middle.
Pellet litter. Clean out the clumps, pouring/sifting over the grate into the other box. Dump dust.
Note: The grate will often clog up with pellets and the dust doesn’t sift out well without vigorous sifting. With 2-3 inches of pellets, it is a lot easier to sift in small increments. However, this makes me wonder if normal hand sifting would be easier.

The litter box looks bigger than the picture. There are 4 pieces; 2 blue trays, a cream colored sifting tray and the barrier. The barrier curls in at the top just a bit and leaves less room for the cat to turn around. We have cats that prefer to go in the corner and the barrier helps keep nasty in the box and not on the floor.
I like and hate this box. I wish it was bigger, taller and wider, and the grate was pellet friendly. I feel with the size of this box it would suit a kitten or small cat well. Cleanup with clumping litter is easier than digging up chunks, but it’s more expensive.

The sifting feature is not ideal for clay litter. The litter just gets stuck in the grate and creates even more of a hassle to clean. I ended up removing the sifting tray altogether and just using it as a regular scoop litter box. It probably works much better with pellet litter since those just dissolve and fall to the bottom.
Other than that, I do like this litter box. I’ve had it for about a year and it hasn’t started to stink or wear down (I do use plastic liners in it though). Overall, I would recommend this litter box if you use pellet litter for your cat. If you use clay litter, you’re better off getting a regular one without a sifting tray.

We have four cats and I purchased four of these litter boxes for our home. As a cat lover and someone who has to clean all four litter boxes daily I cannot say enough how easy these are to use and help take away mess and the amount of time to clean your litter boxes. I wish I would have purchased these years ago. Easy to clean. Less mess involved and very cost effective! I would give ten stars if I could!

Holes are slightly too big, some wasted litter because of it. For some reason, even with the sides on, my cats still manage to get litter out of the box. Holes too big, box not big enough.

Quite pricy for litter box, but helps to save money on pellets. Not using it as described though. Rather shake used pellets out leaving good ones in. Scoop the poo ;). Could be a bit longer (not wider), as my cat manages to poo outside of it leaving me with big pile of poo to clean off the floor.

Size is great very simple to use all you do is unlatch the lid from front and back lift the sifter shake it a bit then removed the 2 litter boxes. Now I actually will take the 2 litter box and scrape the remaining droppings and urine soaked litter in the empty box then use a empty litter container put one of those 4 gallon garbage bags in it so I can dump out the leftovers from the cat. It works great that way. The lid is easy to unlatch and latch. So what you get is a lid 2 litter boxes and the sifter part. I liked this one so much got 3 more so I have 4. As soon as I clean out the boxes the smell disappears and also never hurts to put a little fresh litter to mix in with the old litter also. Otherwise wonderful product

Bought this extra one fur it cat before traveling, and it has proven very practical for the person who is baby sitting my cat. It is easy to use and more feasible for people new to handling pets. The price is very reasonable compared to pet stores.

If you bought these pans and they won’t sit all the way together, it’s because you have one backward. I figured this out with the sifting pan when I was trying to put it together, and with the solid pans when I had cleaned it for the first time.
Also, we’re using this pan with wood pellets and, at first, it looks like all the pellets just get stuck in the holes, but it actually works right. The pellets dissolve a little when they get wet, and they fall through the holes. True, your cats can’t cover their poos, but if you’re scooping out the poos daily, there’s no smell with the wood pellets unless they just dropped a fresh poo.
It looks like this pan isn’t great with clumping litter, but once we’re done with our current batch I’m switching 100% to pellets anyway. Better smell, no little clay grains all over my wood floors (imagine if it was carpet–ew!!) and cheaper at the farm supply store. Win-win-win.
We will be buying a second one of these to retire our old cat pan once the container of clay litter is done.

Had similar one but bigger and too many parts to deal w. This may be a tad too small or I put too much liter in. I think I’ll only need like half liter next time. So what I do is I put a pee pad under the first holder so the pee finds its way down and stays off the liter. I use clay so it’s good for this and less smelly and no clumping mess. When I scoop the box I lift it up and replace the pee pad. No issues and no smell. Love this way!!

The order arrived on time. The box is sturdy and works very well with pine litter. My cat was comfortable using the box. Pine litter pellets turn to powder when wet. The sifting pan can be used to sift through the litter to get rid of the urine soaked powder. Use a scoop to remove solid poop. I have super glued pieces of plastic to the four corners of the sifting pan to ensure that the soiled powder does not mingle with pellets and falls through to the bottom tray as per ideas given in the comments from other buyers. Good product and seller sent authentic imported one from US. Kudos to the seller.
