1st, the wood is extremely cheap for the high price they are asking. It’s particle board which is crap. It feels like a steal. 2nd, item has poor, incorrect, andd unreliable instructions. I had to go against the instructions in order to build it correctly. 3rd, even the tools and nails used are extremely poor quality. I couldn’t even screw the nail into the fake wood without the nail metal material itself shaving away or metal crusting away like powder and becoming dull. The tools became dull very quickly where I had to my own tools. WIL NOT be buying again. Amazon is the worse to get furniture from. These sellers are out here trying to get a qiick dallor, to get rich, and don’t care about supplying people with quality made things people deserve. I loose trust it and dont know what iam getting these days. I am so annoyed right now its crazy. I missed the 50’s Era where people care about quality and real craftsmanship.

This was very disappointing! first, after unpacking everything and taking an overall inventory I realized I was missing some screws the # 4 to be exact. Then just after starting to put the first two pieces together, I saw that the “E” piece predrilled holes were out of place. In the bottom row, there were no holes at all, and the rest were just out of place!! What the heck? I can follow directions but this was really just out of wack!

This was fairly easy to put together. The diagram was a bit confusing to put the drawers runners on but it got sorted after a bit of a dismantle. I did encounter an issue with one of the drawer wheels being broken. To date I have not had a response from the manufacturer to replace the part. All in all…it looks nice and serve its purpose.

Everything fit together perfectly and the instructions (pictures only) were easy to follow. A magnetic screwdriver was supplied which made starting the screws into the holes so much easier than with my fingers, a big plus! Almost everything was clearly marked and designed in such a way that it’s impossible to make a mistake. The only exception were the drawer bottoms, which look square but are not, and lacked any markings as to which way to slide them in. Also, two parts (bolts for the drawer handles, and a nut fir the wheel where packaged with the handles and the wheel respectively, so I thought they were missing and ran out to the hardware store. My bad, I guess. Finally, there are a large number of hex bolts to install, and this would have been brutal on the hands to use the supplied Allen wrench. Fortunately, I have a rachet set with a hex bolt attachment (see photo), which made this task 500% faster and easier. I highly recommend getting one of these for your toolbox.

This had matching steel cabinets. The wood top of the steel cabinets matched the wood tone of this cabinet. Was easy to put together. Very sturdy. Perfect size for printer and files without taking up too much space. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent cabinet. Very sturdy. It’s absolutely perfect for what I needed. It is not easy to put together. If you are a beginner, if Ikea gives you nightmares, if you don’t cooperate well with your spouse when putting together furniture, this is not the filing cabinet for you.
I put it together all by myself in about 1 hour. But I am very very good at this.

The mfr did provide support. I missed the email. They are sending me a new handle. I really do love this cabinet very much. I updated my rating from 1 to 5. It is a really good cabinet. Easy to assemble.
Vasagle support is the worst. I’ve emailed them twice with no response. They have very short phone support hours. I don’t recommend this manufacturer. Horrible support!!!! I just need a new handle and can’t get any support other than to return it. I’m not willing to disassemble it to return. Instead I’ll return the unopened Vasagle products I still have and go with another mfr. It’s a shame because this is a nice product. It went together well but if the parts don’t work and there is NO support then it’s not worth the money.

I have seen comments saying it was soooo difficult to assemble amd that you almost needed an engineering degree.
LIES!! It was really easy to assemble and the instructions super simple to follow. However, it is time consuming if you are building it alone. It took me 1h43min. That time could have been reduced if I had someone helping me assemble say the drawers while I did the main frame.
Someone mentioned not liking the drawers. I think they didn’t do a good job of attaching the rails properly. Human error not fabrication error.
I think it is awesome that they include all the tools you need for the assembly, even a screwdriver. Even IKEA doesn’t do that.
Very impressed. Also, all my colleagues are a little jealous of this purchase.

I bought this cabinet to sit in a space between a bookshelf and my desk. I needed something to put my giant laser printer on because it was just taking up too much space on my desk. I liked that this unit has drawers – one is a filing-cabinet style drawer that is absolutely perfect – the addition of a wheel on the bottom to ensure that the weight of the contents don’t flip the whole cabinet is genius! It also has open shelving on one side, which works for my magazine file folders where I chuck stuff that needs to be sorted/gone through before being filed. My cat also appreciates the open shelving, she likes to hide in the bottom shelf sometimes.
I was shocked at how well made this unit is, and how easily and quickly I was able to put it together. The way the rod is able to be moved to accommodate larger file folders in the filing cabinet drawer was also a really-well thought out option and works so much better than other adjustable filing cabinets.
TLDR: a really nice addition to an office that looks great and is incredibly functional.

Instructions are easy to follow. It did take awhile to put together. I used my own tools instead of the screwdriver that came with this because it didn’t work with all of the screws. I strongly suggest using a drill to make assembly faster.
Everything else:
It seems pretty sturdy and is eye appealing. I would buy it again.

Beautiful and functional. A bit challenging to put together. (There is a wheel that attaches to the bottom of the file drawer. I took it off because it didn’t work well on carpet). Great, great quality and very sturdy. I am so impressed!
