Our 16 year old dog has been having problems with UTI’s, and been through a couple rounds of antibiotics, only to have the infection return shortly after. We were giving him a cranberry powder supplement which was helping. He was having 0-2 accidents in the house a day, compared to 3-6 accidents a day without the supplement. We decided to try the chews, because they would be easier to administer. The powder needed to be mixed with wet food, and he eats dry kibble. Within two days of starting on the chews he started having multiple accidents again, so we started him back on the cranberry he was originally on, and he immediately went back to only 0-2 accidents a day. We’re thinking that we may have got a bag that was stale, because the chews were more hard than soft. We were able to return the chews
to Amazon, which was nice, because they were expensive. Thank you, Amazon, for such great customer service.

This product is great. It was recommended by my pet’s veterinarian. The only downside to ordering this product from Amazon is that 2x it was out of stock and the last time there wasn’t any indication when it would come back in. Of course I contacted VetriScience and they recommended buying it through my Vet and they always make sure its in stock.
Sure enough, I called my Vet and it was there. Cost $10 more, but at least I don’t have to worry about the product going out of stock or being delayed. My dog can’t afford to miss a dosage.

Update: My puppy has had a good result with product. I bought it again. So glad the vet recommended it. Only wish it was a bit less expensive.

This is a great brand that I trust. However, I feel this product is priced too high and delivers false hope that it will cure your pup’s UT issue. If you suspect your dog has a UTI, get some antibiotics and probiotics from your vet. If this product were more reasonably priced I would consider it as a worthwhile supplement, but I feel the company is charging a premium for nervous pet parents trying to help their beloved pups experiencing what you should see your vet about.

My 11 year old RESCUED Pekingese has had chronic UTI INFECTIONS for years. After dozens of urine cultures with Vets I was told that TULIP MARIE was resistant to almost every antibiotic except one injectable! I could only treat her for one series of injections which I was able to give her at home. After that the injections worked but soon after the UTI RETURNED! The vet said that the injectable antibiotic must be reserved for a time when TULIP MARIE becomes very sick as using it freely for treatment would build up an immunity and become ineffective. After using VETRISCIENCE UTI CHEWABLES FOR TWO DAYS NO BLOOD IS SEEN IN HER URINE AND SHE LIKES THE CHEWS! PLUS TULIP MARIE IS A FUSSY EATER. The only drawback of the chews is that they are very hard and I have to break the chew in half before offering. After just two days..so far so good & I am hopeful. VETRI SCIENCE products ARE EXCELLENT & I HIGHLY Recommend ALL THEIR Products.

We have been using this product for over a year on a very elderly dachshund. He went through numerous urinary tract infections and our Vet recommended this. Although he is a standard, his little ‘wee’ sort of drags the ground and he was repeatedly getting infections. Since we started using this back in November of 2012, he hasn’t had any infections. Because of the higher cost at the vets office, it was getting increasingly harder to afford so I was looking for something reasonably close to replace it when I came across the same product at my beloved Amazon :). With the decrease in cost, I am ecstatic that I can now afford to continue using it for my beloved “little man” and it’s just a plus that it’s available on auto ship. No more trying to get into town to pick it up before they close.
