The video quality was good while checking the projector on the table. After ceiling installation can’t set it perfectly anymore. Automatic video settings doesn’t work

These pictures are with a 100 inch ALR Screen During the Day. The 4k and color reproduction is amazing and if you’re coming from a 1080p projector this is a night and day differencei. Picture quality. Also the design is sexy. I have owned this projector for about a year and have specific takes on this product vs everything else out there.
Unique Pros
1. The Throw Ratio. See my image, This projector has a .8 throw ratio so in my living room I have about 8 ft to a 100 inch image. Most other projectors you will compare have to be 13-15 feet away or ultra short throws 9 inches away so this is unique. None of this might be a concern if you’re mounting it up on a wall but for a portable projector a short throw ratio at .8 makes it much easier to set up in smaller rooms.
2. Low Power consumption. This projector’s watt hours is the lowest of any 4k projector I’ve researched. What this means is you can get 5 hours with the projector plugging it in a 600wh battery pack. Great for camping or beach movie nights if you want a more luxury experience. Most of those small portable projectors you see online have 300-500lumens, 1080p and low battery life vs this giving you 1000 ansi lumens, 4k and 5 hrs if plugged into a 600wh battery pack.
3. The built in Speakers. They are good! On par with a good quality sound bar, plus with the .8 throw ratio the projector will be coffee cable distance from where your sitting so the speakers are right by you. I also bring this thing with me when we go on trips to air bnbs and it turns the place into a party, projecting music videos and filling the whole house with music we can make breakfast too in the mornings. If your treating this like a boombox it’s truly good size.
Cons
1. There are better options out there that are brighter that draw more than double the wattage if you’re powering them into the wall.
2. Just get a 4k google chromecast. The onboard system does support airplay and casting capability but it is hit & miss and the streaming quality is lower than streaming to a 4k chrome-cast device or streaming stick of your choice.

At first receiving product loved it. Incredible picture. Well designed and constructed machine. Classy design. After two weeks noticed always having to refocus even though stationary. But biggest unlivable disappointment came later. The lens has a automatic cover that opens when turned on. Well it broke. So could not turn projector on or off. After this returned.

El proyector es precioso. La configuración inicial de colores es rarísima, pero después de unos ajustes, luce excelente. La calidad de imagen es maravillosa y en una habitación mediana puede convertir la pared entera en una pantalla (eso sí, funciona mejor en un lugar completamente oscuro)
El sonido es increíble: rico en bajos con agudos bien equilibrados.
Las funciones “smart” son muy limitadas y las apps de Viewsonic son viejas y algunas ni siquiera funcionan. La capa de android que tiene no soporta apks actuales, así que terminé comprando un Chromecast.
Contrario a lo anunciado, no es un buen proyector para juegos: su tiempo de respuesta es demasiado alto.
Aunque dice ser un proyector portable, es muy grande y el mecanismo de la cubierta del lente es muy frágil, tanto que se descompuso después de dos semanas de tenerlo instalado en un soporte estático. Tuve que devolverlo.

This is the best native 4K projector for under$1500 that I’ve found so far. The enhanced lighting,1M/1 contrast picture, the outstanding 3D movies playback, 155″ screen (biggestI can setup in my home), the sounds (although I’m using my Denon 4300H) and the 3 yrs warranty. I’ve got the projector for about 4 weeks now, running time average 5 hrs/day and the 2 minor bugs I’ve so far are not able to upgrade Firmware online and the streaming apps is nothing to talk about. I’ve not had time to look into the Firmware upgrade yet, since it’s really doesn’t effect anything. As for the apps streaming, I usually stream from my Sony UBP-X800 anyway since it would upscale all of my streaming to 4K. I like so much that my wife bought another one for my men cave🙂. It’s a brand new projector that’s released this year, so a few bugs are expected, just hope they stay at minor bugs, wish me luck😁.

Here are the few good things about this projector. It looks amazing. The design is beautiful and the hardware is well built. The sound quality from this projector was amazing. Surprisingly the best speakers I’ve heard in my life. Quality was decent but I’m afraid that’s it.
Here are the cons:
Keystone correction was horrid and so, it didn’t matter if the 4K quality was good, if the picture is at an unviewable angle then it ruins the whole experience. The user interface felt cheap and a bit laggy and my assumption is that the UI was based on some type of old android software like the ones you find on cheap tablets. With this being a portable projector, one of the most important software features was AirPlay. It didn’t work. Using my iPhone 15, I kept on trying to connect to the AirPlay but it didn’t work as it was stuck on a loading screen. If you are looking at connecting this up to a gaming console from time to time, the input delay is definitely noticeable and in my opinion, not satisfactory.
Overall, I was really expecting something impressive from this projector. The design is impressive and so is the sound quality, but it fails to do the most basic things it promises well, ruining the experience.

This is a great projector – unless you want to use any of the ports except the HDMI.
USB1, USB2, USB-C, microSD and fail to display the files on the drives. No JPEGs, no PNG.
Display errors.
I wasted days on this, and after being strung along by Viewsonic support for a full week (they did not have any X11 4K projectors to test on (!), my 30 day return window closed and I am stuck with this thing.
Heads up – the documentation is wrong. Such a waste of my time and money. So disappointing.

Man muss wissen, was man will! Dieser Beamer ist für mich genau der richtige, weil:
– ich ihn nicht fest verbaue sondern flexibel einsetzen möchte. Der Griff ist dabei enorm hilfreich und garantiert ein sehr angenehmes Handling!
– ich ein Fan des echten Kinoerlebnisses bin und keine Tageslichtprojektion brauche.
– deshalb ich auch kein „Lumenmonster“ brauche und von der angewendeten LED-Technik mit sehr langer Lebensdauer und geringem Stromverbrauch überzeugt bin.
– dieser Beamer aus nur 2 Meter Distanz ein Super 120 Zoll (260 cm Bildbreite) zaubert.
– die Einstellung des Beamers auf die Leinwand vollautomatisch läuft – nur der Abstand zur Projektionsfläche muss tatsächlich sehr genau getroffen werden.
– das Gerät ein tatsächlich gestochen scharfes 4k-Bild liefert.
– die Farbendarstellung beeindruckt.
– der Beamer für sich schon eine Superlautsprecher-Ausstattung hat und damit die Soundbox, die man zusätzlich mitnehmen muss, entfällt.
– der Beamer, einmal eingerichtet sich automatisch mit meiner Stereoanlage über Bluetooth verbindet und ich zu Hause einen optimalen Sound habe.
– das Ding einfach sehr stylisch und edel aussieht und ungemein praktisch zu transportieren ist.
– die automatische Abdeckung der Linse eine geniale Idee ist.
– die obigen Punkte berücksichtigend der Preis in der Tat passt.
Wer einen Projektor für Tageslichtverhältnisse sucht und eine Kontrastleinwand nutzt, für den ist dieser Beamer nichts.
Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt den ich habe: Wenn das Gerät noch einen optischen Zoom hätte, könnte man sich das Gefummle mit dem genauen Abstand zur Leinwand etwas ersparen.
Wer also ähnliche Anforderungen wie ich hat: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Projector has an automatic lens cover that opens when turned on and closes when turned off. After a week, it doesn’t close anymore and has loud clicking noise when I attempt to turn it off, and the projector stays turned on until I pull the power cord. Now, I could not turn the ceiling-mounted projector off without climbing a ladder to remove the power supply from the ceiling.
