My cat went absolutely crazy for this food when I started switching him over to it. He really seems to enjoy this food, which I’m assuming means it tastes and smells really good! The packing and bag are really nice as well. I like the size of the kibble and it is small enough to work with my automatic feeder. Overall I think this food is really good for my cat and he seems to be enjoying a nice fresh new taste!

Took a long time and cats didn’t touch it

From the ingredient list, this is an overall healthy cat food. There are no cheap and unhealthy fillers/carbs like tapioca starch, oatmeal, corn or soy. Cats do not require these at all in any amount as they only cause health issues in the long term.
My cat loves it and every time I open the bag he comes to me purring.
Unfortunately the price has doubled since I bought it and is now unaffordable so I will have to look elsewhere. It’s really too bad because this was the only cat food I could find with decent ingredients that is grain free and low carb at a reasonable price. I’m sure it’s inflation but I just didn’t expect the cost to jump this much. Otherwise I’d give it a 5 star rating.

as stated in the title, my fourteen year old kind of heavy cat likes this food. i was using another brand and he was up to fifteen pounds which was the equivalent of a five foot nine inch two hundred and sixty pound person. he’s been on it for less than a year and is now down to thirteen pounds with maybe another pound to go. don’t want to go too light as we all know when our animals get sick they lose weight so quickly. he also takes phenobarbital which can affect his eating but in his case it has not. overall good ingredients and one of the lower fat amount for dry food. i also am limiting his treats and looking at the fat content for can food which he gets a teaspoon in the morning because i also give him lysine for allergies and have to have some type of liquid for the lysine powder. other than that he is fairly healthy and semi active. i’m going to continue using wellness for its quality and reasonable pricing. the food is smaller than other brands but a five pound plus bag last for a long time. UPDATE…he has been on it consistently now without any other type of food and limited treats and he now weight 11.8 to 12.0 depending on his poo and pee. Loves the food and for some reason it is always on sale when I need it again so it’s a great deal and has him drinking more water. He is now very active running through the house and he turned fifteen a couple of days ago.

I’ve done other reviews on this companies food products. I did a lot of research when I got my new kitten and the top two brands that I could find were Orijen and Wellness. Orijen was supposedly better, but there was an issue, at the time of my research and as of now as far as I know, where people said the food from the original Canadian facility was excellent, but that they built an new facility, in Kentucky I think, and that the food from there is all you can get in the US and people are reporting listlessness, vomiting, dull coats, etc…
Having determined that I’d then be going with Wellness, I had her on the kitten chicken pate (only flavor they offer in their complete line), and another brand of dry food that I thought was good, but later found out was pretty trashy. She got to where she didn’t care for the pate and I switched her to the Core line of kitten food, which was turkey and chicken flavor. She started eating it again.
Once she turned (1yr) old, I had to switch her onto adult food. I tried the Core line of adult food, because they are super high quality, but she basically would touch it. She was wasting a lot of food.
I went on a testing spree and found out that there is only one of their products she really likes. She likes the “Turkey Slices w/gravy”.
She refused to eat the Wellness Core dry food all together. I tried this Wellness Complete Indoor Chicken, because the ingredients, including chicken fat, were similar to the other brand I’d been giving her. I had to mix it heavily with the old to get her to eat it at first, but at this point, to get rid of the bag, I’m mixing 1:4 with the old and new food. The lower the ratio, the more “bleh” she is about the food. She likes it fine, she just doesn’t dive into it.
In summary, the Core line is better, but my cat didn’t like the taste at all. There is also a consistency issue, because with more natural ingredients, the moisture content varies. The complete line is stable and you get the same texture pretty much every time. She also likes the flavors a lot better.
Also, because their kitten food is very high in fat content, she gained a lot of weight. She was never over “chubby”, but definitely needs to loos weight. She’s a big cat, but at 1yr, she weighed in at 13lbs 9oz. Having her on the wet food and this dry food, which has a fat content of 10%, I believe, shes started loosing weight. After a month she’d lost down to 13lbs 3oz., which is significant when you’re that size. It’s been a couple of months and while I won’t weigh her till the end of the month at the vet, she looks to have lost even more.
I’d highly recommend it.

I recently tried the Wellness Natural Pet Food Complete Health Natural Grain Free Deboned Chicken & Chicken Meal Dry Kitten Food for my kittens, and I am pleased with the results. Here are my thoughts on this product:
Grain Free
One of the standout features of this kitten food is that it is grain free. While I don’t exclusively feed my kittens grain free food, I do appreciate having this option available. The fact that this product is grain free is a nice bonus.
Made in the USA
This kitten food is made in the USA, which gives me confidence in the quality and safety standards applied during its manufacture.
Kittens Enjoy It
My kittens absolutely love this food. From the moment I introduced it to them, they have been excited about mealtime and consistently finish their portions. It’s clear that they enjoy both the taste and the texture, which makes feeding them a breeze.
Value for Price
When it comes to pet food, finding a good balance between quality and cost is crucial. This Wellness Natural Pet Food offers a decent value for its price. The 5.5-pound bag lasts a reasonable amount of time, even with multiple kittens, and I feel that the quality of ingredients justifies the cost.
Overall Experience
In summary, I am very satisfied with the Wellness Natural Pet Food Complete Health Natural Grain Free Deboned Chicken & Chicken Meal Dry Kitten Food. It meets my preferences for providing a nutritious diet, my kittens enjoy it, and it offers good value for the price. I would definitely recommend this product to other kitten owners looking for a high-quality food for their pets.

Mon chat n’en mange pas trop, mais ça pourrait sans doute l’aider à contrôler le poids?

Costco premium, nah. Blue buffalo, ok. My boys really like this and the $ not bad. They prefer this over the others. Low to no carbs and high protein. You can smell the fish when opening this bag.
