Cats love it and I’m happy that it’s grain free!

My cats demand a lot of variety when it comes to canned foods, and this is a product that has earned its way into the rotation.
I free-feed Blue Buffalo kibble to my cats (Ella, age 11, and Bubba, age 2), so they tend to be pretty picky about canned food. They look forward to their canned food each morning, but like to have a variety. Generally, I will split a larger (5 oz) can or offer them each a small (2.5 or 3 oz) can each morning. If they eat that, I’ll give them another one in the late afternoon or early evening. Usually, Bubba is the only one who needs two offerings of canned food since he’s three times the size of Ella.
Wet food is important for cats because, in the wild, a cat would get most of its liquid requirements through its food rather than from drinking water, and domestic cats prefer fulfilling their liquid requirements that way as well. Older cats, in particular, often don’t drink enough water to meet the needs of their kidneys.
In cat food (kibble or canned), I look for meat, poultry, or fish as the number one ingredient and for it to be free of corn, soy, wheat, gluten, or unnamed byproducts. In canned food, particularly the gravy recipes, I’m okay with broth as the number one ingredient as long as it’s followed by protein, given the importance of water in their diet.
Because of my rotation of canned foods, I often look for variety packs, and this Wellness Core Digestive Health product includes two different recipes: Salmon Pate Recipe and Whitefish Pate Recipe.
Bubba has thrown up a couple of times in the past few weeks, so I have ordered a few digestive health or sensitive stomach recipes. It’s still too early to tell whether these will prove useful in that respect, and I may never know because if I offer them the same canned food three days in a row, they’ll refuse to eat it.
Keeping in mind that 80% or more of what is found in cat food is represented in the first four ingredients, let’s look at the first six ingredients in this product:
Wellness Core Salmon Pate Recipe: Salmon, Salmon Broth, Chicken, Chicken Liver, Pumpkin, and Whitefish.
Wellness Core Whitefish Pate Recipe: Whitefish, Chicken, Salmon Broth, Chicken Liver, Salmon, and Pumpkin.
Additionally, the rest of the ingredients don’t include anything worrisome, so I am very pleased with the ingredient list. It has no added grains, wheat, corn, soy, or artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. This isn’t the first time that I have bought this product, so I know that my cats like it.
I usually buy the larger 5 oz cans since if I were to feed each of my cats something different, they’d fight over it, no matter who got what. However, since Bubba is usually the only one who wants a second feeding of canned food in the afternoon, the smaller cans are convenient, too. It is worth noting that while some manufacturers have cut back on the volume of their small cans from 3 ounces to 2.5 ounces, these continue to be a full 3 ounces. When ordering or comparing prices, sometimes it’s easy to overlook the half-ounce reduction in some products.
In summary, I recommend this product. While I will buy a whole lot of other ones as well, these will remain in my rotation.

Headline says everything… I’ve been getting this food regularly over the years, and lately noticed that there’s less food in each container. Really sucks because now I have to open more cans to feed my cat what she’s used to eating, as her strict diet gets all screwed up if the amount of food changes.

My older cat has stomach problems, vet suggested this, he tolerated it well.

⭐⭐⭐⭐
My finicky feline has a sensitive stomach, so finding the right food has been a bit of a challenge. Thankfully, Wellness CORE Digestive Health Grain-Free Natural Wet Cat Food has been a game-changer. The chicken and turkey variety pack offers a range of flavors that my cat seems to enjoy, and the smaller 3-ounce cans are perfect for portion control.
I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my cat’s digestion since switching to this food. The easily digestible formula has helped alleviate some of the stomach issues she was experiencing with her previous diet, which is a huge relief for both of us.
The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is that I wish there were more variety in the pack. While my cat enjoys the chicken and turkey flavors, it would be nice to have a few more options to keep things interesting for her.
Overall, Wellness CORE Digestive Health Grain-Free Natural Wet Cat Food has exceeded my expectations in terms of improving my cat’s digestive health and providing her with a tasty and nutritious meal. Highly recommended for cats with sensitive stomachs!

I bought this for my daughter’s two cats that moved in with us. She rescued Henry and Biscuit and is giving them their best life. They both have FIV (HIV for Cats) which can attack the immune system. I trust the Wellness brand due to their ingredients and no fillers and when I saw a Immune Support cat food, instantly wanted to try. They loved it! We can barely put the bowl down before they are scrambling to eat it. Henry finishes first (fast eater) and always looks to Biscuit’s bowl for more 🙂 I subscribed to receive this every month to make it easier and help on cost.

This was really helpful. She eats it instead of throwing it up

Simply put, all eight cats love this wet food, which can be a tough feat to find a product all cats enjoy. That said, I specifically got this for one specific cat as he has dental issues and does better with wet food. He typically is picky about his wet food, but he actually meows and chirps for this stuff! He actually begs for it if I do not give it to him on time. I do feed one can (with extra water) a day as I combo feed. Per instructions, he would need about 3 cans a day if I did straight wet food. At that, it is quite expensive. However, the ingredients are quality, I am happy with protein content, and my cat is very happy. That is a score. I have since bought this again and will be buying again. This is now my go-to for my boy.

Excellent my Cat loves the taste. I would not give my cat anything else the only issue is the availability.

Had been feeding my poor cat this for a few days now, hadn’t been quite right since I started him on it — VERY gassy, like so bad, spoiled egg bad. And just now, 2am, he comes in and vomits all over the place, the canned food looking the exact same way as when it went in him, like he couldn’t digest it. And then he goes to the litter box and literally SQUIRTS diarrhea. Poor thing. I just wanted to find food that my poor boy can have that won’t upset his sensitive stomach… definitely crossing this off the list. Nothing has ever upset his stomach the way this has. Not even normal non-sensitive cat food. Not worth it. Not to mention both of my cats usually eat wet food like crazy but always left some of this food over like it was meh tasting.
