Literally my favorite lipstick, I wear it all the time!! It stays on all day with a few re-touches here and there and the color is to die for! I replenish it when I need to and, with people who know me, I am notorious for my red lip bc of this glorious lip stick.

The formula is dry but seems that it would wear well and the price is incredible. My complaint is that the colors are NOT what they look like I. The photos or even in the bottle. Example: I purchased two colors, one looks like a deep, maroon red (It’s more of a HOT PINK when I put it on) and other is a Bright red but again looks more pink when on. I do NOT wear pink lipstick and it’s not worth sending it back. It’s also not exactly easy to apply because the formula is so dry, it doesn’t glide on like many others.

The matte has a very long wear, slightly sticky if you have too much applied(I dab my lips with a napkin once fully dried to remove any access). Obviously it will rub off if you really try to rub your lips like with your hand, though eating and smoking I found to have no issues. Practically lasts the whole day.

I got out every other weekend and go bar hopping and when I tell you this is the ONLY lipstick that will stay on after all that drinking .. or possibly other activities. I usually wear this and do the wet and wild lip liner and put a littte transparent powder on top and I have literally woke up with this still on the next day. It’s very affordable and stays on without making your lips feel dry. I Will be buying more shades!

I did A LOT of research before buying this product. I enjoy makeup but am not someone who spends a lot on it. I loved the idea of a matte lipstick that would stay for hours, and of course Wet-n-Wild is a very affordable brand! In addition to researching the product itself–which gets almost uniform great reviews–I also researched the color options, looking at many online photos and even watching videos. I finally decided that the shade that would work best for me was Berry Recognize, as it seemed to go very well with coloring similar to mine (brown hair/brown eyes). Also, I wanted a shade that was a deep pink but not bright like some of the other shades (e.g., Nice to Fuchsia).
This product is a liquid that applies with a doe-tipped applicator (this one with a bit of a “C” shape) similar to a lipgloss. Unlike a lipgloss, however, the product needs to be applied VERY quickly, as it will start to dry and then to flake if you try to apply too much. And it is VERY hard not to apply too much, as the applicator draws A LOT of product. I actually found it easier to apply a little bit of product and then to spread with my fingers or a separate brush. I especially didn’t want to use too much product because the Berry Recognize shade turned out to be MUCH brighter than I had expected! It is a very bright, intense pink. My lips are already quite full, and I don’t like to draw too much attention to them with super-bright colors, so for me, this would probably be a special occasion only shade. This was a major disappointment, as I wanted the color more for everyday wear. (I tried to take a photo of this, but it didn’t really show the true color.)
Another disappointment was the lasting power of this product. It is supposed to feel lightweight yet to have “serious staying power.” I agree that the product felt lightweight, but I didn’t find it to have any better staying power than an average lipstick. After letting the product dry thoroughly, I pressed my lips against the back of my hand–and came away with a smootch mark! Similarly, I found that this product definitely transferred while I was eating, and it didn’t really last beyond a single meal.
I’m not sure how others are having so much success with this product when it really didn’t work well for me at all. In fact, it almost put me off liquid matte lipsticks completely–and then I happened to pick up another product in a store, Rimmel Stay Matte Lip Liquid, Rose & Shine, 0.21 Fluid Ounce. This turned out to be everything I hoped that Liquid Catsuit would be! It was easy to apply, provided a gorgeous matte color, and was definitely long-lasting, with no transfer. So, I would definitely have to recommend that product over this one.

Toffee Talk is the most perfect neutral greige lip color, it’s opaque and lasts all day! Seriously, I wore it all day with no reapplying, even after eating. No transfer at all! And I LOVE that I can love on my toddler and not worrying about getting him dirty!

I was very impressed by this inexpensive liquid lipstick. I found the applicator easier to use than the Maybelline Matte Ink products that I generally use. The applicator has a little indent in the middle which sort of hangs onto your lip like a little rail and the lipstick glides on without going out of bounds. This dries down almost as if you aren’t wearing anything i.e. it feels like your lips. No sticky, tacky, flaky, gooey mess. Incredible holding power. I ate and drank and it did not transfer even a little. No weird smell. The application made my lips look fuller than they really are. I wish they would make about a million shades because this is fantastic. I did order another shade.
