Mon chien n’aime pas trop les jouets et se lasse très vite, mais aujourd’hui ce jouet est devenu son Doudou. Sa solidité est remarquable, je lui ai juste recousu une oreille mais franchement pour ce qu’il subit au quotidien ce n’est rien. Mon chien ne le quitte pas et le sort même avec lui pour aller faire pipi. ^^

The KONG Wubba Ballistic Friends Dog Toy caught my eye as a potentially durable and entertaining toy for my German Shepherd. Initially, it was a hit—my dog absolutely loved the shape and the squeaking sound that kept going no matter how hard he played. However, the joy was short-lived.
Despite being an X-Large size and from a brand known for durability, the toy only lasted about a week with my GSD. He quickly turned it into a mission to disassemble it, successfully chewing off the legs and eventually the head, exposing the stuffing inside. Impressively, the squeaker survived the onslaught and continued to function!
While this toy provided a good deal of fun and excitement initially, it’s not built to withstand the determined efforts of heavy chewers like my dog. It might be better suited for dogs who are less intense about their toys. If you have a dog that loves to chew and tear, this might not be the most economical choice for lasting entertainment.

Our Briard loves this toy. It took years for one of the arms to come off. We’ve purchased about 8-9 over the past decade. Great product! Holds up very well. The squeakers are a bit much very early and very late in the day. 😂😀

Our dogs love the squeaker in these toys, and since it does not have any stuffing, it is great for them to be able to chew up and not make a huge mess for the most part. They love to On Durable, however, not the most durable out there. It’s entertain And keeps our dogs distracted. Great for fetch or tug-of-war. The size I would get for a bigger dog is the extra large however, the large is OK for medium size dogs.

I’ve got a 9 month old border collie x blue heeler who is a very compassionate, loving dog… with a picking problem and obsession with tearing apart and eating inedible parts of toys. As a younger pup, he did amazing with the smaller Kong but finally was getting through the threads. It lasted months so I accepted that it was time to replace the toy. I got slightly larger kongs so the toy had more weight to it and was big enough for him to last. Unfortunately, the kongs don’t last. He tears through the octopus legs, the band around the two balls in the Kong. OH yeah, he completely tore the canvas off the kong so I know that a small tennis ball makes up the smaller top lump and a light, clear and flimsy squeak ball makes up the larger squeaky area. And when I gave the dog the squeaky ball inside, within 5 minutes he popped out the squeaker, which i threw away and let him keep playing with the ball part.
This is not in any way a negative gripe against Kong. Its just how my dog is. The other dog could work on thr same Kong probably his entire lifetime and it would never see wear and tear. They have completely different personalities and the other dog has more toys simply because he hasn’t destroyed…any of his.
I also have the rubber Kong casing for heavy chewers. I agree the actual rubber casing is hard for my dog to chew through but the legs are still made of this canvas material and the darn doofus tears at it until its strings, and tries to eat Said strings.
If you habe a heavy obsessive chewer, beware. Otherwise, I love Kong product and always recommend to anyone considering

My 20 pound mini golden doodle destroyed these within an hour. Ridiculous that these are supposed to be durable and quite expensive. 0 stars. Awful quality. DO NOT BUY if you have a dog that loves toys, these will be in the trash in an hour
