These are good cameras and good price. Pretty easy to setup. Probably not a good idea for more techie people like me. This is probably a good choice for someone who wants a simple setup, good quality camera, and will just sign up for the service to get the additional ai detection (plain motion detection is basically useless as you’ll get way too many alerts). I bought these to setup a home NVR with frigate on home assistant. Doable but not the best choice of camera for it as you need to get an additional bridge add-on because you can’t RTSP stream from these. Things really slow down at this point. Also, these cameras were not compatible with my TP-Link (Deco) mesh routers for some reason or another. Many people have complained about this. Lots of disconnects, dropped frames, and extreme delays in time sync. I switched to the Netgear Nighthawk mesh system and they work great now. I also switched to the Wyze Cam Plus subscription for now which works great but I miss the continuous recording to my home server and the extra fine-tuning of the detection features through the NVR system but I wanted near-instant detection and live view which I now get through the subscription.

I am using 13 Wyze cameras (Cam V3, Pan Cam, Pan Cam V2, Pan Cam V3 and Wyze watch) and I have no problem using them. After doing a whole lot of research, I acquired the Cam V3 Pro, and by far it is the worst camera that I ever have. First, I did many research before I buy this camera and I think Wyze will fix the problems for one of their most expensive camera. But still this camera disconnect WiFi signal constantly and now it won’t even connect (I use 2.4ghz for it) after a month use. There are no warranty for Canadian customer and now I am stuck with a $90 garbage.
To all the people who is thinking of buying this camera, please look for another one.

Não há comparação a qualidade de imagem, que realmente é 2k, a lente tem abertura de 1,6 o que da muita margem pra imagens noturnas antes de entrar no modo infra vermelho preto e branco que tambem é ótimo. O sensor traz fluidez para o movimento que é acima de 20fps, diferente dos concorrentes que é 15, isso é ruim pois caso alguem passe na frente da camera andando o rosto ja fica turvo, pois captura poucos movimentos, mas nessa não, com 20 fps é o suficiente para capturar em movimento com nitidez. E ai entra a IA, assim que chegou pediu pra atualizar o firmware, e depois disse a camera está fantastica, reconhece uma fresta que tenho na garagem ele reconhece se é veiculo, pet ou ser humano, até então não errou. Só quando voce assina o cam pro, que custa 8 reais com eventos sem limite, que ele notifica esses movimentos e os salvas, a assinatura pra gravar sempre independente só nos eua e custa 21 reais, mas pra mim gravar eventos já é o suficiente. Depois penso em por o cartão de memória, mas a IA é tão boa em pegar eventos que não sinto falta em gravar tudo. O app é extremamente rápido e até então não travou nada. Já usei intelbras e genéricas chinesas com o app yousee, não tem comparação.
