J. Dolan –
always very happy with these.
we get a lot of use out of them and the cost is very reasonable
great purchase, highly recommend
swaguilar –
I think my saxophone is just out of tune because it sounds weird. My C doesn’t sound like a normal C. But all the other notes sound good. I really enjoyed jumping back into the alto sax. It was cool.

The price was great. Check it out

If you’re a beginner I recommend starting out with a reed size 2.0 or lower if there is. These were hard to play with and breath with.
Matthew L. Rippetoe –
I’m primarily a tenor and bari player, but had an alto gig come up and I was out of reeds. I didn’t want to spend too much for a one-off so I decided to try something cheap just for kicks. I was pleasantly surprised with these! I used a reed knife to flatten the back as I do with all reeds, but that’s normal practice. I highly recommend these for the occasional alto player.
C. Rodriguez –
Son likes these reeds and they’re reasonably priced.

After opening the package it was obvious, one of the reeds was cut off center and unplayable.
Grabbed another and loaded it into my Theo wanne durga gold mpc and played it on my Selmer sa80 alto sax.
Wasn’t that bad. I’ve only tried 2 so far, but one worked.
Realistically… $8.00, I got no complaints.
Can’t say what other packages of reeds may have in store me. If at all their a decent practice reed.
