i bought this cord specially for a shelf i have displaying things in my bedroom and none of the ones i owned we’re long enough, so i thought, “hey let’s just buy this one!” but its so nice and convenient and the cord doesn’t bend easily so i haven’t had any breaking problems so far! i looove the amount of outlets and usbs on this, since i have a lot of things to plug it. and cord length is perfect and hides behind my bookshelf so nicely. and i constantly have a CD player/bluetooth speaker plugged into it and it still works perfectly and it always charged and ready for use. would recommend

The first thing I noticed is the weight and solid construction of the surge protector.
I also like the sleek and modern design. It has four ports on the top and additional ports including usb on the sides. It is great for any space that requires multiple devices to be plugged in at the same time. It has two slots on the back for mounting on a flat surface. The plugin is angled down instead of out which makes it a nice space saver. The cord is the perfect length. The functionality and compact size of the power strip makes it a great choice for any work station. Shipping was fast.

Simplifies my power distribution considerably, no more multiple wall warts trying to fall out of the power strip. The quality of this power “strip” seems fine, no better or worse than any other plastic power strip. I’m happy with it.

My house is seriously lacking in power outlets so I have one of these plugged into almost every outlet to create more outlets. These give you the ability to hang it on the wall, or use the extension cord to move it around the room if needed. The USB ports are also super handy and it’s easy to pack for traveling if you need to work and know you’ll need multiple outlets on the go. It’s just an easy, fast, affordable way to ensure that every room in your home has enough power outlets without needing to call your electrician or attempting any DIY upgrades to all of your outlets. The flat wall plug is an added bonus. I’d suggest using heavy duty double sided tape or something similar to hang it if you want it hang it up, but it does have the places on the back where you can hang it up with two screws or nails if you want it done that way.

This Surge Protector Power Strip is handy and versatile. There are plenty of regular outlets to handle lamps, computers, etc. plus USB outlets for your phones, watches and other rechargeable items. The 6 foot extension is sufficient for office use and provided the extra outlets that I needed.

I loved the design and how sleek it is, not to bulky and can place anywhere. The power is great. The cord length is exactly what I neeeded. You can connect so many plugs.

I don’t trust these unknown products for serious surge protection. I basically consider them to be about the same as a regular “remote power tap” (power strip) with no surge protection, and I have it plugged in to a “real” surge protector on the wall outlet, but the socket layout on this product is excellent. Somehow I have managed to plug small “wall wart” sized plugs into EVERY outlet on ALL sides without any difficulty at all.

Granted, all the wall warts in this case are pretty small, but with most power strips almost always one of them blocks another outlet or something and at least one or two power sockets goes unused due to being blocked by something else. Amazingly, that hasn’t happened yet with this one.

So this is a pretty major accomplishment in the field of industrial design here.

I also have this securely screwed down to the back of a desk using the keyholes on the back of the power tap. Unlike many poorly designed products out there, the keyholes on this power strip are of reasonable dimensions and I didn’t have any trouble finding suitable screws in my random screw pile.

However, I really do not understand why almost no power strip manufacturer includes the screws needed to fit the keyhole dimensions on their product! This would be especially helpful in cases where the keyhole dimensions are metric and the product is sold in a country where most of the screws laying around are not metric

Please, for the love of god, please just include the mounting screws that match the product. I don’t even want drywall anchors, just the screws that fit that are long enough to support the forces involved (weight of the strip, cables, AND force of unplugging things). It’s one of those things that is very cheap compared to the amount of trouble involved when the needed screws are not somehow just laying around nearby.

As for the USB charging ports, I never expect much from the ones on power strips. I only use those to power or charge low-power 0.5-1A devices and these seem to do that just fine. I do not use them to charge phones or tablets or anything else these days that benefits from better chargers. So I didn’t bother to test them with anything that can use more than 1A at most.

I also didn’t check to see if the DC USB supply produces HF radio noise. This is a problem with a lot of cheap USB chargers that use switching power supplies without sufficient filter capacitors and such. It might be a problem for me except I haven’t done any HF radio in a while, but anyway it’s another potential quality issue that could use some testing. (For those who don’t know, people doing HF ham radio often need to pick up weak long-distance radio signals that can easily be “jammed” by radio noise from poor quality electronics.)

So for my main requirements which are: can connect everything easily, can mount to back of wooden desk securely, and can charge low-power USB gadgets, this is a definite 5/5 with no headaches.

As a “computer guy” I have a lot of power strips in use and if you’re like me you know that between large power bricks and having outlets that were too close together, using all six outlets is impossible.

This power strip/surge protector eliminates that problem by adding additional spacing between the outlets. There are four on top, two on the left, and two on the right. No complaints there! In addition, the “front” of the power strip includes four USB ports (three USB-A and one USB-C), which can eliminate chunky USB wall adapters.

My only real complaint is that the power strip’s surge protector is limited to 10 amps. My gaming PC draws 5-6 amps by itself, which means you’ll run out of amps before you run out of outlets. The heater I purchased for under my desk uses 12.5A, which immediately trips the surge protector on this power strip. Appliances like coffee makers and microwaves will push the limits of this device, and will trip the surge protector if you have other items plugged in.

This is a super convenient power strip, especially with the USB ports, and would work great on a desk or in an area with a lot of small items. You’ll need to buy one with a higher rating if you plan to run appliances that generate heat.
