I purchased these snowshoes to hike through woodland terrain covered in deep snow, which is common in upstate NY. As an avid hunter and fisherman, I found that these were useful to me not only to just my 260 pound body, but also with 50 pounds of gear, clothing, ammunition, etc.
I would recommend these shoes to anyone that is serious about getting out into the deep snow, whether you are a casual day hiker, or a seasoned woodsman, these shoes worked great!

Purchased these shoes for a winter trip to the bear tooth mountains. First time using a shoe like this, my old ones are raw hide laced. These shoes worked so good on steep terrain that my old shoes are to become wall hangers!

I decided to send my 10×36 snowshoes back for a refund. While the shoes themselves seem decent, the bindings are terribly undersized and poor quality.
The bindings were not big enough to get around my size 12 Lacrosse boots. I’m 6 feet tall and about 235 lbs which is why I bought a 10×36 snowshoe. Taller/heavier people tend to wear bigger boots, so logically one would think that bigger snowshoes would have bigger bindings. This is not the case with these snowshoes as the bindings are terribly undersized.
Secondly, the bindings are made of cheap plastic. As I tried to ratchet my smaller (not my winter boots- I was just testing the bindings) down a couple notches, the plastic slipped and basically kept popping down a couple of sizes. I can not imagine that these would stand up even light use.
Spend a couple dollars more on a different brand and get a better snowshoe with a better binding.
