My teeth have never been cleaner. There are only 2 negatives I’ve noticed. At first it tickled like crazy. It took me 3 days to get used it. There’s a shut off timer. Brushing will pause to let you know to change where you are brushing. After 3-4 pauses it turns off. This feature is off for the amount of time I need. However, turning it back on after shutoff is super easy. Just a simple button press. Now for the good. All the different settings actually do different things. Whitening setting took off some yellow I had for years. Clean makes you feel really clean and Polish makes my teeth shiny. The charge lasts a long time. Charge it before vacation and you won’t need to charge it again until you’re back home. I’ve recommended it to three people already.

My dental hygienist had been telling me to get an electric toothbrush for years, because I brush too hard with a manual one. I held off because I didn’t want it to take up space on my bathroom counter, not to mention that my cats chew on any brush they see.
About 9 months ago I finally bought a cheap electric toothbrush to see if I would like it. It charged with a plug, which was important, because I could keep it in a drawer when it wasn’t charging. Unfortunately, it was cheaply made with a plastic interior column that broke after about 8 months. When I went to replace it, I did a lot more research and chose the Yunchi Y7 Sonic Electric Toothbrush. I have nothing negative to say, so I’ll tell you why I like it so much.
Not only does it charge by plug, but it has a sturdy metal column (where the brush head connects) that should last a long time. There are 5 modes to choose from, each with an automatic 2 minute timer that pauses every 30 seconds, reminding you to switch quadrants. None of the modes are overly loud (as I find rotating brush heads to be) – but I’m not sure how they perform differently from each other, aside from sounding lower or higher pitched. On the handle, there are 2 thoughtfully placed bumps on the opposite side from the “on” button that keep this round brush from rolling over and getting toothpaste on the counter. It also makes a good thumb rest. As I’m writing this, there are 5 versions of the Yunchi toothbrush to choose from on this listing – I bought the green-Y7 (bluish & pink gradient) with included case. It comes with 10 individually wrapped brush heads, with color fade bristles to remind you when to change them out (about every 3 months). It also includes a travel case with a magnetic closure, that will store the brush base and 1 brush head (separately). The product box includes instructions and a USB-to-plug charging cable that plugs into the bottom of the brush under a concealed and waterproof port door. There was no wall charger, but I have so many USB-A chargers from other products, that it made no difference to me. The first full charge lasted me a little over a month.
There is one thing that I left out – this toothbrush is so pretty that it makes me smile every time I use it, seriously! I could have bought any of a couple of other electric toothbrushes that were similar in features and comparable in price, but once I saw this one, I wanted it. The toothbrush and the box it comes in are so pretty that it’s honestly gift-worthy. Overall, 5 stars from me.
*Presently a pack of 5 replacement brush heads for the Yunchi Y7 costs almost as much as a whole new brush base with 3 heads. At this point it’s a non-issue, because 10 brush heads should last me about 2 1/2 years…and who knows if the rechargeable battery will even last that long?

You have to do it in a certain way so it doesn’t tickle, but still get a tiny micro spot at any given moment. Omg way too much all over if you don’t maneuver it a certain way.
The Braun I have the head bristles are medium hard. It should hace come w/like a combo in eac of the colors too. It is verty pretty colors, low price, & I got it for tracking, cuz my old Braun good known trusted brand got on here at a major discount at about this same priceit is 4 yrs old almost & is white ugly well stained from time, water, & so hair color spot got on it, can’t totally remove, maybe goof off can idk, cuz I need it for other stuff like sticker glue residue, white yoga ball stain on it from a pkg, etc.
Anyhow, I did not know it was that real travel USB charging little thin lightweight one compated to my old Braun one staying at home. 😂 I wanted one to look at that was pretty & in colors. I finally found one. I hope it lasts, cuz is China, etc so idk. It is a bit too loud noisy more then my Braun in a different way. More musical like. S
Somemore bothersome then others or louder whatever for the different setting. Another con is it is different then Braun so not sure it has any head covers for it, like I just found for the ugly old plain Braun one recently. Another draw back I think is to buy replacementment heads when you run out.
I that I can in the future. I don’t replace them super often, but every 2-3 months or so & not monthly, so maybe the few plenty it came w/it will last me 2-3 yrs or so before I need to purchase any, but maybe they will not be on Amazon anymore, etc.
That they will not exist anymore & or out of biz & or not make it for that model & if they do I’d have to order allot to get free shipping or not even be able to order directly from them if in China. Ugh.
I have to find out rn soon, next week if I can’t call now, etc, cuz I sm so very super busy & way behind lots of stuff, Dr appts, errands, cleaning, etc. Behind lost Spring too in depression, etc. Like got okay out of it in March, but the gane that helped kept me & ruined my hrs again after it fixed it or I did. Now it is hard again.
Like if it stops working in a few yrs all those brush heads for nothing. Ntyvm. I hope it lasts as long as the Braun has & hoping it will longer for 7 more yrs ar least & for both same time though this one is new that it will last along with my Braun.
Well not if use it only for traveling then I won’t know, cuz not travel, & all the time, so maybe I will make the money till. I bought it with that projection to the universe as if I am going to next year. 😂 Amen ! ! ! Also, own a 🏠🏡🏠 etc & buy for my brothers & their family, etc. Many old & new dreams, added improved to, etc.

I bought this because my old sonicare finally died. Overall this has worked well the past month or so that we’ve had it. I share it with my kids, and there are plenty of brush heads for everyone to use. One thing I don’t like about it is how it turns on.. I never know if it’s going to work because there is such a delay between pressing the button and the brush actually turning on. Also, I can’t seem to get it to go to clean mode every time. Sometimes it goes to clean mode, sometimes to massage, etc. Also, I don’t feel that it cleans my teeth as well as a Sonicare. However, it is still superior to manual brushing and the price point it great. Is recommended this for anyone who wants an electric brush and doesn’t want to spend a small fortune. Great for travel with its travel case and easy to charge. Probably great for a college student on a budget. Also great for teens in the household. Charge lasts forever it seems too!
