Great experience, the BIOS had an auto installer when I started up after installation. I switched from AM4 to AM5 and was surprised the the up-lift. I’m using the NZXT H1 V2 and installation was a breeze. Temps are great compared the rest in the price range, and all I had to do was click a slider in the BIOS to enable EXPO for the ram. Great budget ITX option!

8+2+1 power phase with 60A DrMOS is good enough Ryzen 7000 series CPU and you may change 7000 series CPU to 8000 or 9000 series(if 8Γ60A=480A is enough to power newer CPUs).
It is not B650 or Z690 board. RAM overclock and PBO auto/enable/disable are supported but detailed PBO options are not supported.
If RAM overclock fails, you can reset CMOS by shorting CLRMOS1 pins. It would be better if CLRMOS button was placed on the back plate rather than pins that can be hidden by graphics card.
Two M.2 slots(front PCIe Gen4 slot with 64 GB/s, back PCIe Gen3 slot with 32 GB/s) are good enough. With 2 M.2 SSD, you won’t need slow SATA SSD.
This board is good for general users hoping to make an SFF desktop. I don’t recommend this if you want more powerful board with better internal sound chip, more overclock options, or better voltage regulator module.

– Back IO ist gering gehalten
– Zwei RAM Slots

Β Fits with everything I wanted in my itx case and everything the ASRock polychrome software was also easy to get all the rgb synced. The 2 m.2 slots is nice as well for such a small motherboard. I will say a couple of pins I accidentally bent even being delicate was able to bend back and plug in you can tell it’s cheaper in materials. Another negative although I love that I was able to clock up the ram to it’s appropriate speed at 7200 mhz the CPU side of things is very bare bones. There’s no clear way to undervolt for increased temps or even overclock even after a Bios update. All in all thought this was perfect at the cheapest price point. Also one more side note those wifi attenas work really well getting good speeds.

Not sure how to feel –
ASRock isnβt normally a brand I would purchase. I tried the top brands first but they had issues such as supplying way too much power to the CPU. This board worked the best so far right out of the box. Looks great. Easy to use BIOS. Full of features – including two M.2 slots. Recommended.

Combined with 7800x3d and RTX 4070 Super makes for an amazing 1440p gaming desktop pc. Use the Thermalright AXP90 X53 full copper for great temps on an SFF case.

Board seems to be high quality and is a good size to work with, not difficult at all. However, after through testing and messing with it for a week I still couldn’t get one of the ram slots to work. Eliminated all other possible issues and determined the board is defective. Will be returning. Does not inspire confidence in this brand. Even posted on their forums to see if I could get a reply and nada…not one reply.

Got this off of a recommendation and I canβt say I wish I didnβt, the bios is junk even after major updates it has little in the way of customization. Which wouldnβt be a major problem if the board itself didnβt trap heat like it was made too, this board needs an aio. All the good fan based sff cpu coolers cannot seat properly with the bulky heatspreader near the io. Which itself traps in heat terribly in thinner sff builds. This heat issue leads to you needing either a good liquid cooling options in your case or the use of undervolting in the bios. The biosβs undervolting and clock control options are extremely limited so you can only get so much out of it. All in all itβs cheap enough but there are much better options out there, I donβt know what the design team was thinking making a am5 platform mobo with no consideration for thermals. Not a fan and will be upgrading soon.
Edit: Removed another star for cpu cooler compatibility the vrm heat shield is just way too tall for a majority of the good sff coolers and there is no other point to a mitx board than size savings. Spent too much personal time and money trying to get this board running cooler and Iβve given up. Get a quality board instead unless you like a limited option toaster oven.

Not much else to say.
Two M.2 slots, clean looking, and a stellar deal for how ridiculously overpriced everything is nowadays. I like it and I’ve been building PCs (especially ITX ones) for a long time.
Note: I am using water cooling for my CPU though. I read some reviews that complained about overheating with air, but I really don’t see this being a problem. VRMs, etc., aren’t going to reasonable overheat with ANY remotely decent airflow in your case. You have to go out of your way with reckless overclocking and stress tests.

This board does support CPUs up to 120w TDP meaning a 7800x3D will run at its full speed. Itβs the cheapest board I found that supports that CPU and overall Iβm happy with it. Since Iβm not longer in to overclocking and the 7800x3D is not really geared towards that, this board fits the bill. For most people, this board is perfect. This also has 2 m.2 slots and 3 fan headers with enough power to run multiple fans on 1 header (up to 20w per header). ASRock makes some of the better boards imo, especially when it comes to budget options. I donβt have any problems with overheating, really all you need is an intake fan running cool air across it and there should be no problems. Definitely recommend this if youβre looking for an itx board to pair with a 7800x3D or equivalent chip.
