Nvidia Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Super OC Graphics Card (GTX 1660 Super VENTUS XS OC)

Refurbished MSi gaming Treo 3070 Ti, installed into a newly built Z690 MB 12000K 32G RAM Win11 pro. I already had a 1080 Ti Hybrid from my old system I was using until I found a GPU for the right price. This GPU was not too expensive and available at the time, a couple weeks after black Friday sales. The GPU arrived lightning fast within a week. The GPU card itself was much bigger than the 1080 Ti (the hybrid has a liquid cooler radiator external to it), this might be because of the massive heat sink and 3 120mm fans to keep it cool. There was a mounting bracket that bolted up on the downside of the card to give it support which was a good added feature. The windows Activation complained about the hardware change but all else no issue to startup windows and made sure the Geforce driver was updated. As a side note, the LED lights looked good with the bright colors that could be customizable in the RGB software. I loaded up MSI afterburner and monitored the temp which did not seem to go aver 45 degrees. I did not try to over clock it.
Gaming: Runing a couple of pancake games the graphics looked great but there was not much obvious improvement I could see off hand compared to the 1080 Ti. I loaded up the VR HMD (HP reverb G2 v1) which connected and started with no problem. The HMD uses WMR (Windows mixed reality) portal to connect, there was weird software issue in the portal when I tried to start the windows app store the WMR portal would shut down, the 1080 Ti did not have this issue. From WMR portal started the Steam VR portal which started up with no problem. My first choice to play a game was No Mans sky VR and the result was terrible, the game would lock up after about 5 seconds of trying to move around making the game unplayable. After a few tweeks here and there was able to keep the game running longer by reducing the resolution in the Steam overlay video down to 50%. NMS VR did run for much longer but would still lock up after a while of playing. I also played Half Life: Alyx which played a lot better but did lock up when I tried to take a screen shot. Played Red Matter 2 with no issue but played Wandering in Space and it locked up when the Zombies were over running me. After a week I put the 1080 Ti back in and played the same games and had no lock up issues (although I did notice the graphics were slightly less crisp looking), also the WMR windows app worked as normal again.
I was sad to give up on the GPU and requested a refund. I boxed the card back up in the same condition I received it and sent it back. It took a week to get back and they credited me a refund hassle free.
I gave this 4 stars because I am not sure what the issue could have been, it is possible the GPU could play more intense pancake games much better.

Al tratarse de un producto reacondicionado, es como si escogieras a ciegas, no sabes que te va a tocar o en que condiciones viene. En mi caso el producto funciona al 100, pero tiene muchos detalles en la placa que te hacen dudar del dueño anterior, como es un golpe en una esquina y la tarjeta un poco encorvada :S.

Pero si dunda una 3070TI para jugar todo en ultra arriba de 120 en 1080p o en mi caso en 1440p.

Estoy como Ralph, Feliz y enojado al mismo tiempo.

Item arrived late and was dead on arrival. No image display at all despite powering on.

I purchased this product for about $550. Which when I saw it come up on my recommended, I immediately snatched, because for a used 3070 Ti it’s a FANTASTIC deal. Especially one from MSi.

As you can read the reviews about the general specifications pretty much anywhere else, I will give my general experience with the seller. The product arrived within 2 days of ordering, as opposed to the 4 day wait I was initially expecting so that was a nice surprise. It came in its original box in very good condition, the only thing noticeable was the corner of the S/N sticker on the backplate was slightly peeled up. But its hardly a big deal. No scratches or damage to the card was noticeable either.

The warranty is also still valid and transferrable, so make sure you register for that as well.

I haven’t had any issues with the card. Overall great purchase. I wouldn’t recommend buying it for $700 though, that’s where you’re starting to get into new video card territory. I would start looking at other options.

It not that capable anymore but it was great for its time and still mid meaning not bad but not good either but u are getting decent value for the price
