I like this, I have been wearing this for almost 2 months now, 5 times a week. This fits me very well and comfortably. I used to wear those beach shorts and those always stopped me from streching legs. The Speedo one was great! I don’t feel anything during swimming. And I lost 7 kgs so far 🙂

I bought these because I started swimming laps for cardio improvement. I’m 5′ 11″ and at the time of purchase, weighed 165 and wore waist size 33 jeans. I am thin but have a little muffin top because I am out of shape and only recently started exercising again.
I was concerned about the mixed messages regarding sizing. According to Speedo’s sizing chart, having a size 32 waist means that you’re supposed to buy a size 30 but reviews suggested to buy the size corresponding to your pants size. Being a size 33, I bought both the 32 and 34 with Amazon’s try before you buy program.
I acknowledge that the proper fit is supposed to be skin tight and completely free of wrinkles but never having used anything but “swimming trunks”, I felt more at ease with the size 34. The more appropriate fit for serious swimming would probably be the 32 or 30 but I felt uncomfortably exposed with the size 32 and I can’t and don’t want to imagine wearing a size 30. The inner lining is made of the same material as the rest of the jammers and smooths out the front panel to the extent that my children don’t cringe.
My old swimming trunks were Columbia water shorts and made of polyester so they held up but bleached out after about 2 months of 5 days/week 1 hr lap sessions. These Speedo Endurance jammers are holding up well after 4 months of comparable usage with only the stitching starting to fade out. As a comparison, my childrens’ spandex/nylon swimsuits literally disintegrated in the same time frame.
The best part is that I cut 2-3 strokes per 25m length just by switching to the jammers. On average, that savings comes out to ~195 strokes per 66 length mile. So for my swimming style, I’m saving about 9 lengths/mile just by using these jammers. Lacking experience, I had no idea that there would be such a difference. I’m gliding in the water and not dragging as if I’m pulling a parachute like with my old trunks.
Now, after 6 months of steadily working out and swimming I’m replacing fat with muscle but I’m losing more fat bulk faster than adding muscle bulk. So I’ve dropped 10 lbs, my muffin top and I cinch up another belt notch on my size 33 jeans. The 34 jammers are now loose and the extra material leaves wrinkles in the front and clings when wet. I kept the 32 jammers and these now fit comfortably and I plan to use them until I can put some good weight back on.
Long story short; I like and recommend the Speedo Endurance Jammers and would buy them again. They last longer than standard swim suits and significantly reduce drag. Took off one star because the stitching will eventually fail first and they should have used the same material for the stitching as for the rest of the suit. Hopefully, my sizing experience will help make informed decisions.

This one is true size. Very light and flexible, it might be a placebo effect, but I noticed some improvement on the pool.

I’ve returned to swimming this year after a long time doing other exercises. I knew I needed a suit for training and that–at my age–the little speedo suits were not something I’d be buying. So, I saw these jammers and bought a cheeper brand, which started off great, but started degrading after a couple months of use.
I needed something more durable, that wouldn’t start showing my skin through unexpectedly. Or have some sticky substance rubbing off of it!
So, I read the reviews on the speedo endurance suit and the comments about the size, etc. and decided to give it a try. Since I shed some weight by swimming and intermittent fasting, I am down to a 32 inch waist. In fact, some of my 32 inch pants are slightly loose! So, I decided to go for the 32 inch suit.
As expected, it’s tight. I have fairly large thigh muscles, so they are tight there. But, working them up, they fit snug, but they fit! Other reviewers have noted that if you want a little more room in the suit, go a size up. I agree. If you’re on the edge of 32/33, go with the 34. But, if you’re 31/32, the 32 will be a good fit.
I’ve been using mine for several months now for 1-2x per week. I follow the suggestion and rinse it with cold water after every swim. I have run it through the wash a few times. And it has remained in top condition. It feels the same as it did when I got it in the mail. So, I believe it is, truly an endurance fabric.
One more thing on the fit. It does a nice job of being modest. I’ll leave it at that.

Husband swims 3x a week with a masters swim club. These are great training jammers and fit great!
Amazon Customer –
My son swims 6 plus hours a week. I kept buying cheaper jammers for him because he is growing too fast.
But within a month they would be so worn out and thinned out so I decided to go with these for the endurance. I have been very satisfied and have actually purchased two more times. Definately worth the price. Specially because the same exact pair in other stores is over $50. My son wears them all the time even when hes not practicing or competing he wears them for fun leisure swimming too, that’s how comfortable he is in them. He had them for about 3 to 4 months and actually outgrew instead of wearing them out. I am very happy because they are still in great condition. And they are comfortable for him compressed but not making him feel uncomfortable or like it cuts his circulation. Just the right tightness for a good cmpetitive swim. I am very happy. The only problem I had was finding the right fit for him. Firt I was sent the wrong size then the correct size was too small. He is 12 now and 100 pound 5″5′ and is wearing the 30. But we started out with the 26 about a year ago. He is thin but not skinny.

My son swims and plays water polo. These were the most comfortable and the best quality we’ve seen. The fabric is like a second stability skin and lightweight.
Also, the rise isn’t as short as so many jammers are. The rise is long enough to ensure comfort and hold.
J. Yeung –
I am shocked my black pair lasted 10 years and are still holding up. The threads are bleached white, but these jammers are still holding together. I had to buy a size up as the thigh cuffs are too tight, but this is a known issue.
