I bought this little camera on a whim because the grainy black and white images it prints out remind me fo the Brownie box camera we had when I was a kid. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and figured it was worth a try. Turns out it is a lot of fun, and prints (on thermal paper like cash register receipts) are just a few cents a piece. Prints are slightly larger than 2″ wide. Images are also stored on a micro SD card, so you can print multiples and reprint later if needed. I’ve taken it to a few gatherings and grown up people love playing with it. After buying, I learned there is one of these kids cameras (not sure which one it is) that prints in a “pixel/halftone” mode and I do wish I had found that one instead, because the prints look like old newspaper photos which is an option I’d like to have. At any rate, I am really enjoying this thing and highly recommend it for taking weird arty photos and for playing ~ friend, pet and weird vehicle and architecture photos are a big hit!

Bought this camera for my 8yr old grandson overseas. I received the camera and checked it out to make sure everything works before sending it to him. I had a blast while checking it out. It prints black and white pictures kind of like from the old fashioned photo booths. You can adjust the resolution if you like the pictures darker or lighter. It comes factory set at 3 (from 1-5) and I moved it up to 4. I sent it to him with the paper already loaded and ready to go. He received it two months later and was thrilled with it. Then he told me it wasn’t printing anymore. Turns out that he put the paper in backwards. All those who say that it doesn’t print anymore, check the direction of the way the paper was installed. As for those who said the camera ran out of ink… it can’t run out of ink. It does not work with ink. It prints using thermal heat. You never have to buy ink for this camera. I also want to say that the seller was amazing. I emailed them and they responded right away. When I explained the problem, they were very supportive. I have no doubt that they would have exchanged the camera if need be. They told me that they have a very rigorous quality control and the cameras are checked to make sure they meet quality control. With their help we were able to figure out the problem. My grandson is having so much fun with this camera.

This was a gift for my 5 year old. He loves taking pictures with it but the printer only prints half the image. So disappointing.

We absolutely love the camera and it’s extremely easy for the kids ages 1-8 to use it with out adult help. The kids also loved the that they can take pictures and then choose which to print. Battery life seems to be great we have had it less then a month with constant use and haven’t had to charge it more then once. It does have the auto shut off that we set for 1 min so that helps. What we didn’t like was the the screen popped out of place and now they can’t use it.

I wish I could return this camera. There was acknowledgement in the packaging that the printer takes time to “warm up” and to just keep printing until the photos show up. My child and I printed and printed for an entire 12 hour day with nothing but over exposed shots and blown out images printing. I was incredibly disappointed, because I had found a deal on the VTech print camera for my other child and was hoping this would be comparable at least, but it doesn’t even come close to the same quality. Don’t buy this, spend the $30 extra and get the VTech.
