So when I received this little guy, I was kind of skeptical I was like OK I bought it but now I have to make sure it works and the only way to make sure it works is if you’re on the airplane so I took it, but I wasn’t really very optimistic. Then I went to use it and this little guy….. I have to tell you this little guy works wonders. It worked all the way, I flew for a total of about 22 hours and I only charged it once. Love it. Just make sure to keep it in one particular place cause it’s quite small and easy to lose

It’s small, it’s portable, the battery does last a while but I never let it die so I try to charge it every 3 days or so depending on my usage. It was easy to connect, clear instructions and for someone with no patience it was easy to use.
I don’t recommend trying to switch earphones because you have to start the whole connection process and well personally that’s frustrating for me. I find it easy to just have 1 set of earphones for this. I’m using it for my Dell Desktop and it connects great!

I bought this to use with my wireless Bluetooth earbuds on flights and with the treadmill at the gym I work out at. I have yet to use it on a flight. It does work fine – syncs with my earbuds and sounds fine. However, when I tried to use it with a Precor treadmill at the gym, the treadmill acts like it doesn’t sense it and I cannot raise the volume on the treadmill output to an acceptable level. The treadmill has a default sound level of 30 which I can raise with wired earbuds. However, it will not raise when this device is plugged into the jack. I will keep it to use when flying and maybe there are other uses for it, but it is disappointing that I cannot use it on the treadmill.

What a handy little gadget to take on a long flight – connected easily to my earbuds with no problems – watched movies with it – worked great!

It works alright. You might be better off to buy a s cheap set of headphones that plug into the planes headphone jack. The only reason I say this is cause there’s probably a quarter second latency, so the audio doesn’t perfectly match the video. Also, pairing is kinda a pain. Maybe the Pro fixes these issues?

This was a great product to use during a long flight. It connected easily to my Bluetooth earbuds. No more tangled wires to worry about. And battery lasted the whole flight.

I travelled from the UK to America with United and wasn’t sure if the in flight entertainment screens would be Bluetooth enabled or not. I always prefer to use my own headphones as they are vastly superior to the earbuds that airlines provide. I read conflicting reports on the availability of Bluetooth on United planes, so to hedge my bets I bought an AirFly. I’m very glad I did because when ny holiday finally rolled around, it turned out that neither of my United flights had Bluetooth. But thanks to the AirFly, all I had to do was plug it in and my headphones worked perfectly with the IFE. Connecting was simple, the sound quality was crystal clear, volume was nice and loud, and the battery lasted for the duration of my 11 hour flight and beyond.
The AirFly isn’t cheap and I debated whether or not to buy it due to that, but I’m so glad I did because it solves the problem it’s designed to solve perfectly. Also it’s a one-time purchase that guarantees Bluetooth connectivity for every flight you take from now on, so when you consider it as a long term investment it’s really worth the price overall. The majority of planes still don’t have Bluetooth connectivity so it’s something I will use for a while to come.

Used it recently on 2 long haul flights, there is some time a glitch that the sound does not come through but a quick restart of device fixes it. I found this to be very convenient to use and it does not compromise the sound quality

Even though more and more planes have added Bluetooth to their seat back entertainment, I have found that the airlines Bluetooth signals are weak and very low volume and not stable. Using this transmitter with the headphone jack fixes all of that (as well as on planes without Bluetooth). Works as advertised. Pairs quickly to my Bose headphones and Sony ear buds. I also used it on my turntable using an RCA to female jack adapter and it worked well there as well, though the volume boost could have been better. Compact and simple device that gets the job done.

I used this Airfly SE for a Nintendo Switch; specifically Project Diva (a very high speed rhythm game), because the switch’s Bluetooth audio has a horrible static as it is an outdated Bluetooth chip. This device instantly fixed the issue- as according to the specs, it uses the newest chip in circulation. While I can’t testify to this, it eliminated the issue of 2.4ghz interference with the JoyCons, and therefore certainly is an improvement.
My biggest worry was latency. With such a quick-paced game, any delay would be a problem, but the audio is perfectly synced. I’m relatively ill-knowledgeable about BT specs but this product has aptx codecs for low latency according to the specs. If your connected device supports this, there should be virtually no lag; HOWEVER, I used this with a Bose Flex Soundlink, which has a BT 4.2 Chip, which is a bit out-dated at this point, but shows NO latency and is crystal clear.
Switch in mind; this plugs in to the top audio jack, allowing you to dock the switch and use a TV for visuals. This is a massive leg up on the switch Bluetooth adapter competition, that only work in handheld mode. The cable on the adapter is sturdy enough to hold it up, not causing any dangling, creasing issues with the internal wires. Because the headphone plug is not powered, you will have to charge this separate to the switch, however it uses a USB-c like the dock so you can swap the same cable if need-be. As long as you aren’t playing for 20+ hours, I don’t see it being a problem.
Not to be rude, but any review that says “hard to connect; etc.” must be a 95 year old grandma because it quite literally could not have been more seamless in my experience. There’s a sync button on the side I never even pushed I simply turned it on with the on switch and it auto-seeked devices… hit the pair button on the speaker and it instantly connected. ?? No questions here.
I paired this in a Nintendo Switch, to a Bose speaker. I do not understand any reviews that say you must use an Apple product. No Apple products were used on either side. Hence, Versatile.
The volume seems to be slightly lower through the speaker than an iPhone (Spotify) (loudness setting enabled- which may overload and distort the sound) allows; maybe 90%, but seems plenty powerful and will heavily rely on the device paired for total volume. Range carries throughout my house
Very small, portable, and affordable to fix such an annoying Nintendo issue.
