Pretty easy to assemble. Only finicky part is getting the screws started that hold the vertical tube to the base. If you back the clamp off all the way you can fit the Allen key in in the longer orientation and it makes it easier. The clamp base options seems sturdy. It is low profile allowing the desk to be as close to the wall as possible with a monitor stand. The tilt\swivel works well and remains in the set position.

So, let me just start by saying in my opinion, that this stand is cheap and absurdly well made especially because of how simple it is to set up. I have bought two of these (One holds my 27in benq the other holds my 34in curved ultrawide) because of how much I liked the first one. It freed up my desk space and it made everything look simple and clean (See pictures). The only gripe I have with it is with customer service and not the product itself. When I talked with customer service, who responded to the email they sent out after you receive your order, which is a nice touch by the way. They were very friendly and I inquired about getting some more of the cable clips/organizers that each stand comes with. The stand only comes with one, which to me was not enough. I offered to pay for the clips/organizers but the support team said that they would send some out for free to my shipping address, but have never sent them out. This was about 7 weeks ago, and though disapointing it is not enough to knock even one star off as it was something free and the product I initially bought works perfectly as it should.

Easy to assemble, super sturdy, and overall looks pretty good. But if the main reason you decided to get a clamp stand was to save some real estate on your desk, look elsewhere. I previously had a VIVO stand that you place on the desk itself and believe it or not, that one actually had my monitor further back closer to the edge of the desk than this one. So plan on your monitor sitting roughly 7 inches forward (see pic) the edge of your desk. I was hoping for something much closer to flush with the edge than this. Tiou achieve this I think one must consider the stand with the extendable arms. I have that one at work and you can put your monitor almost completely flush to the edge of your desk. The catch: they cost about twice as much as this one.

No se ha bajado la tv, se mantienen en su lugar, el apoyo para sujetar el stand me ha ayudado a administrar los cables por ahí.

I owned another monitor stand for a dual monitor setup but the arms in the back were sticking out way too far so I was unable to push the desk closer to the wall. That’s when I decided to purchase 2 single monitor stands and came across these VIVO Single Monitor arms. They have worked out perfectly for my situation. I can now push my desk completely against the wall. This monitor arm is much easier to adjust and lock into place. It’s also very well made. This stand also works with the Vesa Arm/Mount Adapter Bracket for a Samsung monitor. One of my monitors is a Samsung and has this adapter but it works just fine and I’m able to line up this monitor perfectly with my other monitor with this Vivo Monitor arm.

This thing is rock solid. I have a 42” LG C2 mounted to it and it has practically no sway at all (using C clamp). I replaced another brand’s mount that was rated at a higher weight capacity but couldn’t hold the screen level no matter the tightness. I’ve had a couple vivo products before and they never disappoint. Highly recommend.
One thing to note is that the monitor mounting mechanism may be arrive at its max angle due to the tension of the heavy duty spring. If you try to use your hands to move it, it’s pretty damn hard, but once you mount your screen, everything is easily adjustable and works flawlessly.

This stand definitely makes the monitor stick out more than the pictures. I was hoping it would be more flush against the walls but whatever. My real issue is assembly…

Everything was good until I had to attach the monitor Mount to the pole. It went on fine, but the actual process of turning the bolt with the Allen key to tighten it so the height stays put, left me both sweaty and annoyed, and neither in the good way!

The bolt was unreasonably tight before I adjusted it and it took more strength than I wanted to exert to tighten it enough. If you don’t regularly work out or lift weights, you’re in for quite the workout. And may whatever god you worship help you if you find that the height you chose the first time was wrong, because it’s just as much a hassle to loosen it, adjust the height just a little bit without the entire thing falling (and this is if you have the monitor on it) and tighten it again.

If you don’t work out, this might be a two person job, so fair warning now. But once everything is assembled, it works, it’s stable enough, and it definitely makes me want to just bite the bullet and buy the monitor arm rather than this.
