The Coravin is for saving very expensive bottles that you may only want one or two glasses from at a time. Not for everyday use. I wanted to try a little bit of a very old bottle but didn’t want to open the whole thing. The Coravin was the answer. Easy to use with a little forethought. Recommended.

The system dispenses wine as it should albeit very slowly. Once you pull the needle out however, the cork doesn’t necessarily reseal. I turned the bottle upside down 2 days after I pulled the needle out and it still leaked. I think recorking a bottle has the same if not better effect. I would not recommend this.

Just like others, the needle broke on mine after 6-7 uses. Oh, but the good news is you can buy a new needle from them for $30 plus shipping.
