Great headphones, fantastic sound, battery lasts forever! BUT if you have a big head like me (7 5/8 hat size) then these might be a little tight. After wearing them for 30 minutes my ears start to ache. These do not cover your entire ear, so I don’t know if that’s the issue. I assume it’s the combination of ear coverage and having a big head. Prior to purchasing these I did not see a review talking about head size, so here’s to all my big headed peeps out there.

They are stylish, have the perfect color and are very comfortable. It feels impossible sometimes to make these headphones run out of battery it’s funny. I love them so much. The noise cancellation is not top tier but as someone who doesn’t need it to be top tier I think this is a great choice. Sound quality and battery life are definitely amazing. I thought this product would hurt my ears immediately, but honestly every headphone will after wearing it for so long so it’s reasonable. If you are looking to buy a headphone for non-professional use for music, watching shows, etc. and are looking for a cheaper version compared to Sony or Bose, I definitely recommend Marshall!

These are my new favorite headphones.

I have AirPodMax headphones as well and these could never replace them entirely for the simple reason that there is no ANC. I love ANC, not even so much for noise cancellation (though that is also stellar) but because I like to sing and the Transparency mode pipes your voice into the ear cups at about the same level as the song you’re listening to and it is AMAZING. When I am cleaning my house I am also harmonizing with all my favorite Swedish pop stars so…I mean…I’m never giving that up.

But, that said, the sound on these is so much brighter. I am definitely hearing details I don’t hear on my APM and I thought those were a phenomenal jump forward from what I was using. (wired apple headphones and the original AirPods) I listened to as many styles of music as I could tonight. (which granted was like different Swedish pop artists, post punk, some new metal, jazz, classic rock and – I confess – some broadway.) These out performed the APM each time. There was often a distant difference in the sound but each time, after listening through the track on both I preferred these each time.

I also have a Marshall speaker (the Stockwell II) and I love the sound on there as well, which is what prompted me to give these a try and I do not regret it. And 80 hours of battery life? 80? I have been listening for a solid LOUD 7 hours and the battery meter on my iPhone appears nearly entirely full so I believe it.

I should also add these do go quite loud. I have them about half way for what I consider loud listening.

The on ear cups are fine. I did take off my ear cuff earring but they aren’t bothering my other piercings and my dangly earring. The headband is fine, I love how small they collapse. (I am used to the horror that is the AMP and their bra case) They came with a jack cable and a usb-usb charging cable.

I know Marshall does make a ANC over the ear headphone but I can’t justify the expense when I have the APM. I would wager they are better sounding though if they carry this sound profile there.

but the major iv are ABSOLUTELY worth it. at like 1/4 the price of the APM I wish I had these sooner.

i was recommended on the ear headphones because they are supposed to be more comfortable. in my case they are very uncomfortable. so my advice is to maybe try some on before buying expensive ones lol. but i can still wear them for a few hours straight before i have to take them off. the headphones themselves are very nice. super cute and not cheaply made. the volume gets very loud but i think the louder is gets the less clear the music is. but i dont blast my music to make my ears bleed either so it isn’t a problem for me. you can still hear basic sounds around you while your music is up, you just cant listen in on someones conversation. oh! and battery life is the best I’ve seen so far. as soon as i got them in the mail they were at 80% and stayed at 80% for almost an entire week of about 4 hours use. i would say these headphones are very very nice all around.

Very good headphones. The price is good. When music plays you cannot hear the outside noise even in half of the sound level.

usually, over ears have a horrid fit that clamps down on your ears and bleed sound like no tomorrow, but the Marshall Major IV has been a pleasant surprise! these have been my main headphones for the past month now, and they fit beautifully. they’re amazingly comfortable, with no issues of discomfort outside of the obvious ear ache if you wear any headphone too long. the sound is acceptably good, not too bass heavy, but enough bass to go around. also, the battery life is unlike no other, in the month i’ve owned them, they only NOW have drained even slightly after near daily use (from 80% out of box to 60% charge now)

if you’re on the fence, get them! they also look amazing <3

Bought these for our 16 year old’s birthday after he did extensive research in all headphones— these ranked #1. They have great sound quality and comfort, comfort even after wearing for 2 hours. Because the quality is so great, you don’t need volume so high which is a big plus.

Ok so i’ve had these for almost a year now, i tried them side by side with the APPLE AIRPOD MAX and i like these better!! its all subjective but these just go louder and thats y i like them, sometimes i have to totally stop the music bc they’re just so loud. The airpod max aren’t loud AT ALL which is something i rlly value in headphones. And having these for almost a year i throw them around and they still don’t even have a scratch. I dont think they have noise cancellation but if theyre up loud enough they have the same noise canceling as airpod max LMAO, so at the end of the day these headphones r great and if ur looking for a pair i highly recommend these over any of the others!
