So when I first used it. It didn’t sound all that great. It was basically a much more expensive version of a JBL Go 3. The more I used it, the better it sounded. I guess it just needed to break in a bit. Now after a bunch of hours of use it sounds great. Probably the best we’ll rounded of the small/portable Bluetooth speakers available. I still love my GO 3 but this sounds a little better. Not sure if it’s 3x better due to the costs but, nevertheless it sounds better and has that cool factor. Where the GO I consider more of a rugged outdoor speaker on the go. If you want bigger sound from a larger footprint you will need to go with a Bose Flex Or Mini

Love the sound quality and volume out of the Marshall Willen. I bought two specifically to have a stereo-pairing immersive experience. Unfortunately, the Marshall Willen only allows what they call Stack Mode. This is not stereo (left/right) but the same audio signal (mono) going to both paired speakers. Hopefully Marshall will perform a firmware update to enable true Stereo Pairing.

So I got this for my office and to kick around wherever I go…being a guitarist myself I was naturally attracted to the whole Marshall marketing thing and it looking like an amp. I gotta say, I was a bit blown away by the sound. I am comparing it to a similar sized Bose speaker I have and I go to the Marshall instead each time. It just has that right sound for me, especially given the music I tend to play (Beatles, Led Zepp, Pink Floyd, etc etc) all in all, I highly recommend!

I purchased this after much research and learning the differences between available brands & models. I wanted a small speaker to carry on long walks and hikes. Bose was a contender but I liked how this one had flat edges to stand upright. Bose’s edges are rounded. Marshall also has 15 hour play-time and a current USB c-type charger. I got a silicone cover with it. Very sturdy & rugged looking.

This speaker provided a surprisingly great sound quality given its small size. Despite being basically pocket size, the bass is noticeable and the sound quality is exactly what you’d expect from a Marshall product. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants great sound quality from a small speaker. I have used it for several hours now and the battery is still over half full, which is also a nice added bonus.
