Great headphones for people who want to shut out everything around them. The noise cancellation is top tier – as you have heard these headphones are great. Also, incredibly light, you can barely feel them on your head. I was worried about buying refurbished but honestly, no problems yet. The battery does drain quicker than I thought, but only if you use noise cancellation 24/7. Also, they shut disconnect randomly sometimes, never looked into it but random thing I’ve noticed – 4/5

I know there are a lot of choices out there, but I don’t think I have ever gone wrong with Sony head phones. Over the years I have bought Bose, Klipsch, Shures, etc… but Sony has never disappointed me for the price and quality of there products.
I fly often and these headphones have become my go to for travel. Good quality, comfort around the ears, and long lasting battery life.

The headphones are lightweight and fit well. Noise cancellation is good. I thought the touch controls would be a problem with accidental touches, but it turned out okay. I do get the occasional accidental touch, but it did not occur as frequently as I feared it would. However, I would still prefer real buttons. The refurbished product was like new

I’ve been wanting the previous version since release. I finally decided to get them – but went for the newest version. What a bummer. The sound is clean, the base (and base muddy tones) is less, but it also means the base feels less full. I have the Sony in ear wf-1000xm4, so when I want that encompassing sound feel – I go that route. The case takes up so much travel real estate, when empty it feels like a waste – as though the most reasonable thing to do is to wear the headset everywhere and leave the case behind. The magnetic closure that keeps the extras (cords) is softly magnetic, so if you drop the case it will pop open. The padding around the case makes putting the headphones away feel precious. I’d say not worth the upgrade. Wait for Sony to fix this terrible case and storage situation and revisit how they went from a robust sound in the WH-1000xm4 to this more bose like sound (I also had the bose QC45). I miss being able to collapse the ear cups and shove big sound into a smallish purse. These mean you have to have a bag of large dimensions to fit.

I mistakenly purchased these Sony headphones thinking they were in “new” condition, but upon arrival I saw that the box had been taped on the sides – very neatly taped and well-presented, but definitely a previously opened box. When I checked my receipt, I indeed saw that I accidentally purchased a “renewed” item, which would explain the $70 cheaper pricepoint. My fault. I contacted OceansideCR explaining my mistake, and they handled the return perfectly – no hassles at all. They even provided a prepaid return slip! My purchase was refunded in full after they received the return. If I’m ever in the market for a well-priced pre-owned electronic item, I will be checking with these guys first. I highly recommend them!

Sound Quality: B+ (Wired headsets at 1/3rd of the price are still superior in sound quality.)
Comfort: A+ (The earpads mold to your ear due to the fabric and design, would recommend cleaning them at least occasionally due to sweat and oils from skin.)
Bluetooth Connectivity: D (Literally worse than my $50 headphones. Can’t even go in the kitchen.)
Noise Cancelation: A (When turned on, leaks hard if off.)
Battery Life: B- (Basically lasts a full day and then some, can’t be used while charging.)
Touch Features: C- (Unable to turn them off, very sensitive to touch… easy to accidentally hit)
Price-to-Value: C (If, for the sound quality, it’s going to cost 2-2.5x more than a wired headset the wireless aspect is the incentive to purchase these. With how awful the Bluetooth connectivity is it’s hard to justify this price point. While it has many great features it’s simply just comes off as the price being inflated for what value it gives.)
My original purpose in buying these was to use a wireless headset for remote work. I bought a modular boom mic that can attach to any headset. However… this does not have a call feature. If I could return my expensive modular boom mic and learn to use the call function instead (if it’s up to par) it’d increase the value of this in my eyes. I heard good things about the call quality… so we’ll see. It was missing the manual when it came so I’ll have to look up a YT video on how it works. However… the “Call” features keep turning my sound off and on so I had to disable them.
Overall it’s a decent product that I’d view better if it wasn’t so expensive compared to it’s competition. If it had great Bluetooth connectivity I’d be satisfied with the purpose even with the other shortcomings. But having such poor quality on such an important aspect just lessens it in my eyes.
Edit: I now realize the call function is quite limited, but fine with that. Cost me an extra $100+ to make it a wireless headset but c’est la vie. Originally I complained that these can’t be used while charging… but I’ve found these charge incredibly fast. About 5 minutes of charging, depending on your charger and power outlet, gets me around 10-20% of battery. So It only take about 25-50 minutes to fully charge. If the cost of fast charging is not being able to use it while charging… I’m fine with that. Not like I don’t have different headphones I could use.

When I was researching noise cancelling headphones, I did as most people do, turned to the internet for answers. What I found time after time, was that these headphones were the best money could buy for multiple factors (comfort, noise cancelling, sound quality, battery life).
After using these for almost every day for the past 2 months, I can attest that all the reviews I read online were correct, these headphones are incredible. I wear them whenever possible and almost forget I have them on half the time because they’re so comfortable. The best application so far has been for flying, as it cancels out all the typical sounds on an airplane and surrounds you in a bubble of your desired audio. The price point on these is high, but if you travel a lot (like me) or listen to music often, it is worth it!

No estoy seguro si es por qué es un producto reacondicionado pero siento que se escucha más de un lado que del otro , todo lo demás como producto es excelente , la cancelación de ruido a mà me causa que mis oÃdos se tapen pero funciona excelente
