Good Parts: Price is affordable. Small footprint (similar to bullet ice makers)
Unfortunate Part: this for some reason was delayed almost a week, held at a nearby location and wasn’t given a firm answer; pickup was Amazon Fresh location
Contemplation Parts: I wasn’t expecting the same nugget ice as you see at Sonic, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, etc, but I don’t like the bullet ice cubes either. I was hoping I didn’t have to turn on the ice machine, answer emails and make breakfast before prepping my iced coffee.
I couldn’t imagine this being used at a party. To run the reservoir out, I think it took about an hour? This filled a 24 oz hydroflask and a bonne maman jar (the 13 oz size) to their brims. To visualize how it’s made before your purchase, it’s like an extruding pasta machine. Water is being frozen while being pushed up through the die and a small arm knocks the ice. This is what affects it’s speed IMO and that’s understandable.
I wanted to love this but if you’re a single person working from home, this could be for you… if you’re not expecting fast results. I contemplated putting this on a smart plug but that seems a bit much just to time making ice! I think I just want more out of my machine. Note this was it’s first-time operation.

I have an obsession with the crunchy ice at work (and probably anemia too, lol) and I was looking to get that same great crunchy ice experience at home, and this ice maker does the job. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and the ice come out perfect every time. While I was cleaning it, my lovely kitten jumped up on the counter, knocked off, and lost, the water stopper (the piece underneath that holds in the water) that was sitting to the side. I contacted customer service through Amazon and they offered to send me the missing piece. I am a very please customer.

I use this for a month already. I had another one before this and it was very hard to clean. This one is light, quiet and is easy to clean . This one instruct you how to clean. I definitely recommend this one.

This is a small ice machine for countertop saving space! Don’t let the size of this ice machine fool you. It is powerful and produces an abundance of ice. Store and save in ice storage bag included with the machine. I recommend this product

the quality of the ice is 10/10! doesn’t take up too much counter space, it does have a little noise but not loud to where you can hear it. Love the self cleaning aspect. I would highly recommend!

Love this ice maker. It takes about an hour to make enough ice to fill two 16oz cups. So prepare for that. Regarding the noise, it does have a fan and you will hear it when it’s running and making ice. But it’s not obnoxiously loud. The nugget sized ice bits are a good size. It’s hardness/consistency is not exactly like the ice from the fast food places mentioned, but is chewable because of the ice nugget size. I don’t keep mine running all the time, so when not in use, make sure to drain and dry it out or you will get scale and deposits. I fill with filtered water. If not used for a long period of time, you have the option to run a clean cycle with diluted vinegar. Make sure to rinse completely before making ice.
