I’m not really into tech. Picked up this to monitor my heart. Figured the EKG function alone was worth the price, but struggled forking out twice as much money for a Watch as I did for my iPhone. Had I know how useful it is, I would have got one years ago. Beyond all the convenience, features such as heart monitoring, automatic emergency services calling for hard fall or auto accident, and compass/map function to guide someone lost in the woods have saved people’s lives. Not many watches can make that claim.

I’ve had tii his for about 2 months and I like this product and enjoy all of its functions. There’s not much elaboration needed about that, So I’ll just mention the negatives. The screen IS scratchable so you’ll need to cover it somehow when you get it. Mine got a very deep CM long scratch just from walking around a building 2 weeks after I bought it. (Very angry about that). Unfortunately there aren’t any really good screen covers out there like there are for phones so you’ll have to make do with what’s available. I combined a plastic snap on frame-style “case” (no back) with soft plastic sticker style covers that come in a large pack so that you can replace as needed. The only other negative so far is that accessories are prohibitively expensive. If the watchband doesn’t fit exactly the way you want it to, replacing it could cost a third of what the entire watch cost.
All that said, I am glad I bought it. And I’m a tough sell.

Unfortunately someone stole my Apple Watch Series 4 earlier this year. I decided to try a Whoop band after that, but missed the screen and being able to track my walks/runs. Ultimately I went back and purchased the Series 8. I have been using it for 2+ months now and it seems the same as my Series 4. The performance is slightly better and seems to track my walk/run distances more accurately than my series 4 and my wife’s series 2. My only complaint is the battery life is still not great on the newer series. Overall love the watch, but not worth the upgrade from a previous series if that’s what you’re looking to do (in my opinion).

It’s an overpriced Apple product. It functions as it is supposed to, and the accessories are overpriced. The band is made for little wrists, so I had to purchase another item to make it work. I don’t mind paying for quality but Apple could add more value to the original purchase rather than having to spend more to make it function appropriately.

I used several different models of a Fitbit for 5 or 6 years. But, the last time I bought a new Apple iPhone, the Fitbit would not stay connected via bluetooth. So I bit the bullet and bought this Apple Watch. This was by far the best price which made this an easy decision. I am enjoying this Apple Watch so much more than I imagined. It is so seamless working with my iPhone. My only complaint is the battery life. Using the apps takes a lot of power. I have made some adjustments to only use the apps I really want like Messages, calendar, weather. I still have to charge about every 24 + hours, but the good news is it only takes about 30 minutes to charge.
