I had done my homework before purchasing this headset and was not disapointed. I own a MS LifeChat 6000, Sony WM1000MK5, Airpods Pro 2 and now this.
Pros:
– Solid construction and very confortable
– Convenience of a retractable boom mike
– Seamless Teams integration
– Efficient noise canceling although I tend to leave it off because it makes me speak louder!
– Audio quality in both transmit and receive
– VERY long range when using dongle
– Both smartphone and dongle are managed when pairing Bluetooth. This is very convenient but requires getting used to.
Cons:
– Battery life is more in the range of three-days worth
– Activity LEDs are irrelevent
– Who needs the cradle. A simple USBC cable conneciton for charing is sufficient
– The Jabra Direct app is required (on Windows and Mac) to allow updates to both headset and dongle

after 45 days it kept disconnecting and not longer worked properly. Amazons return policy wouldn’t allow me to take it back. If your buying this buy it from Best Buy. They give you 60 days.

Never had a problem with its predecessor, however this updated version has been nothing but problems. Hopefully a future FW will address. Disappointing given the premium price.

I really want to love these headphones. The design is great, especially when paired with the stand. The boom mic almost completely disappears when not in use. And the charge last incredibly long when you forget to put it back on the stand before leavingthe office.
The issue is connection. It pairs via Bluetooth very quickly, but the first time you use it daily after having taken your laptop home it struggles to engage sound correctly. People can hear you, but you hear them with a computerized crackling voice. I’m a pretty tech-savvy guy so I figured out that turning it off then on again while the first call is engaged typically fixes the issue (8 of 10 times) but occasionally you have to fiddle with it longer. NOT IDEAL when you are starting a business meeting with your $300+ headphones.
I’m beyond my return window or I would give up on them. Now I will have to get my monies worth.
PS – The MS Teams model did the exact same thing so save your $500 and the headache. I’ve used about 7 other Jabra Bluetooth 🎧 and this us the first time I’ve had issues like this. The Evolve 65 is a MUCH more reliable device. The price is still a bit high though.
Just my 2¢. Hope this helps someone.

I’ve ben using this for a few weeks now and I hate it. The headphones are OK but they constantly lose pairing when I reboot. If I boot up in the morning and jump into a meeting I can guarantee that the headset will not work until I go into my settings and force a connection. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting. NC is very good. The main issue I have is with the dock. It is absolutely useless. I can’t believe that they ever tested this thing. You have to align the two dots perfectly or it won’t charge. It’s also clunky and falls over. Worst design ever!!!

Pros: The active noise cancellation is great. I do enjoy the un/mute by lowering or raising the microphone boom arm. The charging base is quite excellent, and it appears to have a long battery life.
Cons: Mostly one and that’s the form factor. The biggest problem I suspect is for those of us who wear glasses, so if you don’t wear glasses, this may be a non-issue for you. For short calls it’s fine to wear but for all-day conferences – the ears hurt quite a bit from hours of wearing. It’s the only detriment for me. For me, a form factor like the Evolve2 85 would be ideal, but with the tech inside the Evolve2 75 – that would be the ultimate headset in my estimation.
Summary: Great headset and glad I bought it, but when the refreshed 85s come out, I’m certainly going to switch to that instead.

I had problems with it doing the primary functions. I used it for work meetings on my PC with the included usb-c adapter. I had these for about two weeks. In that time the audio sounded super distorted twice at meeting start where I had to leave and rejoin a Teams meeting. Almost daily someone would tell me they couldn’t hear me and that my voice was cutting out. I always use the boom mic and speak at a normal voice volume. When it would cut out I could typically talk much louder and that would fix it. Sure that works but it doesn’t feel normal; feels like the I’m now the loud talker in the meeting. At this price I expected them to work much better.

Great sound quality on the receiving end, but people on the other end of the line report poor sound. Dongle seems to make this worse instead of better -and- use of same dongle cuts the distance you can move from the computer almost in half compared to straight Bluetooth. I also seem to get more complaints of receiving quality on dongle than Bluetooth
