I ordered these quite a long time and the horrible experience I had with them shocked me. My brother owns a pair of these headphones, so I figured I ordered a pair. Having used my brother’s headphones, I knew the Major III had a sound quality that I enjoyed, was comfortable, and had a nice, sleek design.
Unfortunately, the ones here on Amazon are knock-offs. The sound quality is abysmal and subpar at best. Comfort is okay, but the most noticable difference between real Major IIIs and fake ones is the sound quality. Unlike the real ones, these sound extremely bad. I have a pair of earbuds that sound 10x better than this pile of garbage. Please, for the love of God, buy from their official website. I recently ordered my brown bluetooth Major IIIs from their official website and I cannot even begin to tell you how much better they are than these Amazon knock-offs. Besides, Marshall sometimes has sales that sell WAY cheaper than ones on Amazon.
There are some good ways to tell fake Marshall headphones from the real one. I’d recommend you check out some videos on YouTube to tell the difference, such as Aaron is Loud and Wireless’ video on them.

Bought them to replace older black set I bought at Sam’s club, only issue is cord on older set was not coiled. Use them on computer and pulls , hoping over time they will stretch. Quality of sound and ear comfort 5 out of 5.

I have 15 or so pairs of headphones from Sennheiser, Bang and Olufsen, Klipsch, AKG, and Koss and never had any of them break. The Marshall Major III broke after 3 weeks of use. I had them on my head for about 45 minutes when all of a sudden the right side made a pop sound and felt funny. The headband where it connects to the earcup holder separated. Luckily, I was still able to send them back to Amazon for a replacement. Hopefully that pair was just an anomaly.

Pros: I got this item on sale for $60. I would recommend if you can get these headphones cheap. I have the wired version and they sound great to me. I use them for studying and listening to my record player. I think they’re great for everything and I could not bring myself to spend more than $100 on headphones. I like that you can share the music by simply plugging in another auxiliary cable or headphone jack into the free slot on the headphone and you can share music with someone sitting next to you.
Cons: They hurt for the first week and a half. They rest ON your ear NOT over your ear. After two weeks, they felt fine on my ears and head.
TL;DR – I would buy these for no more than $65. They hurt a little at first but soon grow to be comfortable. The sound is fine and quality is great. Would recommend or buy for a friend.

Amazing sound quality… so-so volume or “ punch “ . Probably a good thing for long term hearing . Crystal clear once you cut the foam from behind the earpieces. Range and separation great . Heard things in songs I never picked up before . I listen to music very loud , to my own detriment for sure , but they lack a little , little punch. Overall terrific

I got these because of the name, Marshall and the model “Major”–which is my name. I use them almost every day, though because of the quality. The sound is great and so is the mic–people can hear me when I talk much better than my phone or laptop mic. I recommend them. I would rate them in between my good but inexpensive headphones (better than those) but not quite as good as my $400 Bose Headphones. Very good but not quite $400. I would call them “everyday” audiophile level.

Es comodo al inicio , si pasas mucho tiempo te aplasta las orejas, aunque se escucha bien, no tienen tanto bajo pero se escuchan otros sonidos interesantes como los brillos y medios.

Do you want features in your headphones? These have them! Lets start with the cord. The cord has a 90* angle end and a straight end for you to choose how its connected to your device and the headphones themselves. Be aware that if you connect the angle end to your headphones, the microphone will be on the opposite end from your head. Speaking of the microphone. It has the play/pause button, but (and this may be new to me) it also has functions based on how long and how many times you depress the button for fast forward, rewind, skip forward, skip backward, etc. The cord can be plugged into the right or left side of the headphones, so you can choose your side. The cups are easily removable, though I’m not 100% sure what the intended function is for that. Cleaning maybe? At any rate, the function is there, they fit tight when reinstalled and you can’t tell they’re removable. The sound quality is great. I’m no audio expert, but I listen to a lot of music and it passed my bass and treble preferred song test. The cups are supple and comfortable on the ears for long term wear and they isolate outside noises well. Not perfectly, but well. But hey, we’re not talking about $200 headphones here. These guys aren’t trying to be something they’re not and aren’t making claims.
The only thing I was surprised by in a negative way was the size of the speaker portions. I was expecting over ear size and they fit ON your year. Whatever.
I recommend them. Honest, quality headphones that won’t bust the wallet.
