I’ve wanted to upgrade my Nespresso machine for a while but was holding off as the machine I had worked fine. It recently stopped working so I decided to upgrade to the Lattissima One.
Once it arrived, it was fairly simple to set up and get started. I was able to brew pods without an issue. I had issues when trying to use the milk feature. The machine would blink as if it was preparing the milk, but there was no evidence of the machine actually warming up or doing anything. After a few moments, all the lights would blink and the machine would power off. Needless to say, the machine was able to brew coffee just fine, however, when it came to the milk features (the main purpose of the machine) I can’t say the same.
I did some research online and called Nespresso and I was on the phone for an hour. They offered basic troubleshooting but not anything I didn’t already try on my own. Overall they deemed the machine defective and advised I return it to Amazon. I was pretty disappointed as it was faulty out of the box.
I bought the same unit from Best Buy and so far it’s working perfectly fine! I’m inclined to believe the one I was sent from Amazon was returned by someone else as the water test strip was missing and the milk pieces had some sort of coating on them (both of these things were not an issue with the second unit I purchased).

Ordered 2 machines and delivery was quick. Unboxed and tried per instructions for the “best froth” use skim milk. This worked a couple of times and the machine stopped frothing. Read, Researched and then called customer svce. Big mistake. She kept asking if we have an account. I advised we just received it. She said to set up account So we did. Waste of time and I spent the next 40 minutes w her trouble shooting only to have her tell me I’m using the wrong milk and I can only use whole milk? She said “our site states this”? Bye the way it doesn’t. I searched and also advised her page 17 specifically states “for the best froth use skim milk”. She said “well that’s wrong”? Anyway. This went on for 40 min until I hung up frustrated.
After researching more my wife (yes she’s smarter than me) found more info on line about the same issue. The froth stops working if not using whole milk.
Update – we did try the whole milk and it works.
Love the machine. Great coffee but if you want to use anything other than whole milk it’s not for you. We tried 2% and skim as well. Only whole milk works.
**don’t waste time w customer service unless your very patient and have a lot of time to waste talking..well listening to someone tell you in the end to just return it to Amazon your within 30 days….

I’m gonna start off by saying this: I really love the machine as it functions very well, is incredibly easy to use, and the coffee tastes great. It comes with a sampler of 14 nespresso pods and I was a fan of almost all of them. It froths the milk great and it (mostly) gets it in the cup.
Now to the cons. The are three major things that I had a problem with was the material of the machine. 1) the milk spout is finnicky and sometimes the machine will spurt milk and overshoot the cup, leaving me with a few drops of milk on my counter. The other thing is that the machine is pretty small. My 12 oz ceramic tumbler from starbucks does not fit under the machine’s milk or coffee spout and I have to hold it up to them at an angle. My smaller 12 oz mugs will fit on top of the drip tray but my bigger ones will not. In fact, they won’t fit even if I slide the drip tray over (I have to completely remove it to use them). My last thing is that the machine drips coffee for quite a while after it’s done; and if, for the aforementioned reasons, the drip tray is not in place immediately after removing my cup, it drips coffee onto the bottom.
All-in-all I like the machine and I’ll be keeping it but if you don’t mind it taking the extra counterspace (I do because I have a smaller kitchen) I would buy another machine from the original line (Essenza or CitiZ) with a separate milk frother for around the same price. The cons of this would be that obviously it takes up more space and of course it takes away the convenience of pressing a single button and having a latte be made and poured for you.

I love this! Having the ability to create a perfect cappuccino in mere minutes is the ultimate luxury. I love that I save so much money by creating my fave beverage at home. No more long lines. This machine is so easy to use, takes up very little kitchen real estate, and looks elegant. I am so happy with my purchase. I have been using this for four months and love it more every day.

I ordered a Nespresso Lattissima One on Amazon because I wanted the white porcelain model and the Nespresso online store was out of stock- I was so bummed! When I saw it listed on Amazon, I was skeptical but opted to buy a “Used- Like New” unit.
Much to my surprise, my order was delivered within 5 days of submitting my order (which was originally supposed to take 7-10 days). I was so excited to get the package… BUT IT GOT BETTER.
I opened the box to find a note from the seller that they recently received a shipment and upgraded my order to a brand new unit for free! I was ecstatic to find out my machine was brand new and the seller was kind enough to upgrade my order. I highly recommend purchasing from them, you will not regret your purchase!
The espresso machine is amazing, and I’ve already enjoyed a couple of great lattes. Everything works perfectly and I was happy to find out the milk steamer worked well with alternative milk (I used oat milk). Super happy with my purchase so far!
